This is my first ever balisong. I bought it a few weeks ago, and have been obsessed with it ever since. The beauty, the structure, and the sheer heft of it feels perfect. Imagine holding a newborn baby in your arms, but that baby is metal of metal, about six inches in length, and can cause your knuckles to hurt after several hours of flipping this gosh-dang thing because it's just so fun to mess around with.I've learned a few tricks on this, and it has really helped hone my Balisong skills. The quality is absolutely outstanding for a 12 dollar product; The metal doesn't feel cheap, although the handles do wiggle a bit after some use. It's hefty, the perfect weight for my enormous hands. It makes a satisfying *clack!* every time you do a flip, a signal that yes, you are holding a 12 dollar product and yes, this was made with quality and precision as the forefront of their motivationsMae Renneburg rating: 9/10

I got this as a gift for my fiancés nephew. He wanted the real deal, but I told him we should start with this. Great value for the money, easy to use, high quality material, nice weight & balance.

Only been using this for a day and it has a lot off wiggle on the handles and the latch stopped sticking to the handle. It doesnt sound bad at all but it doesnt sound very satisficing. Great for a beginner so far, Probably should tighten the handles.

I used it for about 3 days and it randomly fell apart in my hand. It seemed fine until I started doing roll over tricks. It started getting wobbly and then it suddenly fell apart in the middle of a trick. Im kindda dissapointed, but using it was pretty fun so I can't complain.

It helps you already get use to the weight of the real thing. It’s not sharp at all, which is nice. I’ve dropped it a lot, and it’s still holding together! It definitely takes a bit to getting use to if you’ve just jumped straight into this weight. I would definitely start with the plastic ones first to get use to doing the tricks and then go to this one. I would do some flexibility and strength building for sure before doing going to this weight. But still overall I love my butterfly knife!

When I received this product it appeared to be sturdy and of decent quality. I spent some doing tricks before it began to feel flimsy and loose. Come to discover that the screws had loosened after just 20 MINUTES of use.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

To be clear... this a five for value for the price. NOT PERFECT but if you are on a budget go ahead and buy it. Although, there are some flaws, there is play and tap out of the box- sandwich design so you really have to maintenance, it and watch those screws holding the handles together. Overall flips good and a good starter bali, if you can spend a bit more EVENTUALLY upgrade and get a Nabalis Canyon. It doesn't fall apart if you take care of him.

My son plays with this butterfly trainer all the time. It is a good tool to use for him to fidget with. He is learning a lot of tricks with it. The butterfly trainer was a little stiff at first but the more he plays with it, the less stiff it is. It’s good quality and is sturdy. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
