Great value
I also have a $700 spartan carbon fiber brake cue. I took this queue out last night and every break was amazing.I even broke the eight ball once. You read that correctly. I broke in the eight ball went into the pocket! That's not an easy thing to do I would recommend this to anyone.

Way better than expected.
I'm an experienced player that has also restored & refinished pool cues. First, the Canadian Maple shaft rolls dead straight (the one thing I was concerned about). The finish on the Zebra wood is exceptional. The cue looks much better than the photos. Even the wrap was very well done. When I showed it to my wife, she said "Wow. That is a beautiful pool cue." My straight pool/9 ball league play starts soon. I already know there are guys that are going to be asking me where they can buy this cue.On top of it being an exceptional cue (at any price), it comes with joint protectors, an extra tip, and a carrying bag, which I will never use, but it was a nice touch. The value to price ratio on this one is off the charts. I used it for the first time yesterday and it hits solid, but will take some practice. One of the guys noticed it and said it's a beautiful cue. I asked a friend to guess what I paid for it. His answer: about $300.UPDATE: I've used this break cue for 11 weeks and it has exceeded my expectations. At one point, I considered changing to a leather tip, but have kept the original. It really does hit hard. In 9 ball, whenever I hit it the 1 ball solid, everything is spread open. Same experience with 8 ball. One of the best purchases I've ever made.A friend of mine told me that you won't be able to 'hit it low with that tip' in order to keep the cue ball in the center of the table. He's wrong. After a little practice, I'm able to do just that. One more thing; some commenters in the review have said that the cue makes an odd sound. It does. That's because of the material that the tip is made out of ... it has ZERO to do with the cue. All phenolic tips make that same odd sound.

Could be better
Handle is bent pretty bad, shaft is perfectly straight though. I don’t expect perfection at this price point, but it shouldn’t wobble as much as it does. I might return or replace it, I haven’t decided yet.

Does it's job.
I got the 23oz cue, and it is a juggernaut. It feels well made and does what its supposed to do. I am happy with my purchase.

Nice quality
Gave this to my dad for Christmas. Seems like it was good quality and it’s a good looking cue.

Power punch
Great weight 23oz. Learning to control power. I like green tip as my buddy has same wood grain stick so I can tell difference. Sinking more balls on break now
