This "By The Cup" store packaged "Ghirardelli Mocha Premium Frappé Mix, 3.12 lb Can with By The Cup Cocoa Scoop (Mocha)" is awesome, because the Ghirardelli Mocha Premium Frappé Mix is just awesome. This is super simple to use, and it will create the most delicious, the most coffee-shop authentic tasting "Frappe"; to a certain extend, it may taste even better than the ones from coffee-shops (probably because of the Ghirardelli chocolate). All you need to do is to put a scoop of the powder (the included scoop inside the can, not the "by the cup" scoop), some ice, and some milk into your blender, and boom, you will have your frappe within a few minutes!I had made this for quite a few people now, and everyone is raving about how tasty this is. I had even made "boozed" version of it, adding bailey's, kahlua or similar coffee liqueur to it. And that made it even more wonderfully tasty. I really can't wait to try other variations/flavors. Lastly, I even use this powder to top my other dessert creations too.One can of this 3.12lb/50oz of powder mix, can make around 15x 16-20oz drinks, pretty good deal, as it cost less than $2 per drink, as compare to $5 from a coffee-shop.The only issue I have with this (hence the minus 1star) is with the repackaging with the "By the cup" plastic scoop, and making the product costing more. I found zero use for the scoop, it is not sized to be used with this product, and I really do not understand why it is there at all. The By The Cup Cocoa Scoop is a nice touch, as it allows you to easily measure out the right amount of mix for your drink.When it comes to taste, this frappé mix is simply delicious. The chocolate flavor is rich and decadent, but not overpowering. The use of real milk in the mix gives it a creamy texture that makes it feel like a real indulgence. I particularly appreciated that there was no coffee added, as I am not a coffee drinker and often have trouble finding frappé mixes without coffee in them.What really sets this frappé mix apart, however, is its versatility. This is a review of the Ghirardelli Chocolate Premium Frappé Mix. This mix contains no coffee.I made a mistake and tried this when I was hungry. So, I had to just taste the powder which was the mistake. This stuff is good and it was all I could do to not eat several spoonfuls of it dry.It’s very easy to make up and comes with two scoops, a larger one and a smaller one good for making just one cup of it. It does come in a large resealable can and not a plastic bag which is easier to close back up.This is good in just water. As it contains milk, this would be great for giving the kids an occasional treat of chocolate milk without having to stock a perishable container that has to be used up before it spoils. That the good thing about this being a powder: It will keep.I can see a lot of uses for this outside the box from simply sprinkling the powder on top of ice cream to adding a bit of the powder to a glass of milk. Either would give a hint of flavor without adding a lot of calories.Ghirardelli has the name for chocolate and with good reason. Their products have never disappointed me. I tried the chocolate. Now I’m curious to see what the white chocolate tastes like.

It took a few tries to figure out how to make drinks with this. Following the instructions, the flavor is way too strong, neither myself nor my wife liked it until I began using about 2/3rds the recommended amount. I'd rate this a solid 4 star product though, except that the mocha flavor only says "coffee added" without mentioning if there's any caffeine, or what that amount of caffeine might be. This is important for me to know if I'm making a drink too late in the evening.
