I hated it but I also loved it! Lol
Have you ever not finished a book because you couldn't stand one of the characters? I almost did!I never DNF. NEVER!!! Not even once! But I was so tempted with this one! Chloe is sooooo annoying! And evil! I think it triggered me particularly because I get so mad at gaslighting attempts from people.Anyway... Do you know what I did? The opposite! I finished it in 2 days, lol! 😂😂😂Overall, I recommend it. I would say a 4.2/5, because it's well written, there is a lot of attention to the details of the story and the fact that you really, truly and viscerally hate Chloe means that the author did a good job.The ending? Some say it was predictable and I agree, but I had doubts til the end, so that works!

Edge of my seat!
This book had me so stressed out. I could not put it down. Easy and quick if that is what you are looking for. I enjoy the twists. Will definitely read more books by this author.

loved it!!!
This book consumed me from the first page. I canceled plans and read while I walked from room to room doing chores and using the bathroom. I have never been this captivated by a book before.

Decent For Anybody New to Thrillers
3.5 ⭐️Let me start by saying, I thought almost all these characters were unlikeable and unintelligent (excluding Simon and the dog). But if there is one person I absolutely could not stand throughout the entire novel—it would be Richard. He was annoying, but when the ending rolls around I see why the author had him written that way.Ultimately, if you’re new to thrillers, I highly recommend this as a starting point. It is clever and has a satisfying-enough ending.*SPOILERS (kinda… but not really)*The biggest issue I had was the 20-50% mark practically being the same scene replaying over and over again. Yes, we needed to understand that Jo was being jerked around and questioning her stability because of Chloe… but I would’ve liked to have seen some more creativity with variations of scenes that caused that. Not the same dinner scene with Jo trying to explain to Richard on repeat, even well past the 50%.Side note: Can we talk about why Richard never once asked Chloe to watch her tone with Jo? We are made to believe he doesn’t see a problem with Chloe, but there are some points in dialogue when she is blatantly being rude and disrespectful to Jo right if front of Richard… He never says anything, but he also is like “Chloe is an angel Jo, you’re making it up…”The twist itself… I find that i’m indifferent. I will stay say that I THINK Im satisfied, but I’m not sure… I feel like the ending may have gone as far as to “over explain”, but ultimately, it was handled fairly well.

Don’t Let Her Stay
Too much repetition of phrases and actions but a good overall read. Is there a sequel? I would definitely want to read it!

Right from the start!!
Holy cow!! First chapter and you're hooked. Intense is not a strong enough word to describe this book. You just have to take my word for it and read it. Really good! Absolutely unputdownable!

Fast easy read, sucks you in
It was good, held my attention and I finished it in two days. However you can kind of see the twist coming from a mile away. Leaves on a cliffhanger but not one that makes you think there will be another book, but one that will leave you wondering what happens next. I do like an open to the imagination ending. Worth a read.
