This is just what I wanted. Not a lot of neck support In back of neck but supports head on left and right. If you wand a firm, thicker pillow, this is not for you. It is softer however. Depends what you are looking for.

For various health reasons I must sleep in a reclining chair. I've had neck issues for years and have a hard time in the chair with getting head/neck aches from no head support. I've tried loads of other neck pillows with no luck and have had to throw them away. They are worse than using nothing! Then I found this Samsonite neck pillow and I LOVE IT!!! It is squishy and flexible enough so I have support of my head with no extreme neck tilt. I highly recommend this product! In fact, I'm going to buy another one so I am never without!

bought this in anticipation of long plane flights when I'd be falling asleep. Found that pillow just pushed my neck forward into an awkward position. Nicely made, but not good for me.

I keep this with me wherever I go, like the service dept. of my car dealership. Waiting in the customer lounge came in handy while sitting in their relatively uncomfortable chairs. I'm arthritic and it provides a level of comfort for my neck and back when I need it,. I like this simple item because you can manipulate the beads around to fit the situation. Sometimes you need a smaller amount of bead and sometimes you need more. The adjustability is what I like the most about this product & I find when I use it along with a heating pad on my back it picks up the heat from the pad for added therapeutic comfort. For me it works well.

I have 3 fused cervical vertebrae and this pillow is a real game changer for travel and positioning. The microbes are easy to move to either flatten out or plump up and area for maximal neck comfort allowing both side lying and supine sleeping. The pillow also is flexible enough to wrap around your neck for support in travel either while riding in a car or in flight. Great pillow for the money
