Very pretty, the roses have a small string of lights but I don't turn them on , to bright & doesn't enhance the beauty of the roses in my opinion .

It is possible that I mis-read the directions but three triple A batteries is a bit much. No shelf life for the lighting. That said, It looks great without the lights.
