Adjustable Height Clamp Arm Brace for Work Sharp Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener（White）

After using this just once, I can see how much of a difference it makes. It allows a solid brace for the Works Sharp kit. I have the $59 model and was already impressed with the use of the Works Sharp sharpening tool. This simple item takes it a next level. It restricts movement while sharpening knives. I only have one question. Since this works so well, why wouldn't the Work Sharp Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener already include this?It's a bit tricky to get it into the position but once it is placed, it provides the next level to the sharpening kit.

While this may work great for what it does, you loose the flip function when you add this too your sharpener!I did not realize this and it ultimately damaged my sharpener and it will no longer flip any more; put it in such a bind that it will no longer flip / rotate.

An amazing, absolute must have if you use the work sharp sharpener. It stabilizes the V- clamp, gives you more control over your work piece. I wish it was suggested to purchase with the work sharp system. I used my new set up, the sharpener, a few times over the past few days and honestly wore myself out holding the knife steady while sharpening. When I came across this support I had to try it. Got it this evening, used it, and fell in love with it immediately!. Not only did it save me over all time sharpening start to finish, it saved myhands.

Item won't tighten in place enough to eliminate the inherent wobble of the sharpener without affecting the set sharpening angle. Any further tightening causes the knife support to slide and pop out of the base. They've got it about 50% right but not perfect yet.

Helps Eliminate wobble on the work sharp elite system. I did still have very slight wobble when using the coarse grit stones but was much better than without the brace,once u get up to 600 grit and finer it's a non issue as long as u aren't heavy handing it. Just use light pressure and take your time it works great. You do have to remove it everytime u flip your knife over but its no big deal in my opinion. Would definitely buy this if u have the work sharp system.
