I like the design of the watch
I like the design of the watch. I am really impressed with how it reports the date. The time is actually synced to your phone.

Just what my husband wanted
Bought for my husband as a gift, as he kept dropping very obvious hints that he wanted this watch....so for months I got random text and photos of various smartwatches that didnt look like a smartwatches because as a professional he has to dress up daily and thought the typical smartwatches look dumb with a suit...so here we are and he loves all the gift...he's kind of techie and it was an easy set up for him. His boss loved the watch so much that he got one too, but my husband had to set his up for him, so it may not be easy for everyone to figure out

Very stylist watch
It’s a very lovely watch that can be worn to work, evening and everyday causal. Not every Watch needs to be a smart watch and connected to an app. We have several Fossil watches, they are wonderful pieces, but they don’t need to be smart watches! Apps are tricky, good apps are hard to come by and typically don’t deliver, and this is the case with the app with this watch. Buy it because it’s a very classy style or it fits well with your life style, I love Fossil watches, wallets and other products they make not because they are tied to technology but rather for the dependablity, quality and classic styles.

TL:DR Very technical and Versatile with modes
Hard to use but very technical. The way it moves when you want to switch modes is cool and very versatile. It comes with so many modes but I only use the ones that don’t have to do with a phone cause I don’t have one. The modes are accessible through the Fossil Q app. Where you could set it up and stuff. It also tracks your activity for fitness purposes. But the fact that is hard to read cause idk if it’s just me but when the long hand should be at a Roman numeral is little bit on the right of the numeral which confuses me.

The Hybrid Smart Watch Concept Has too many compromises.
I have to point out that it is a beautiful watch and does tell time accurately, however, the hybrid smart watch concept just is not ready for prime time. The first thing I dislike about the hybrid smart watch concept is that it relies on your smart phone to track the measuring functions performed by the watch rather than being able to track those measurements on the watch itself. When I first tried working with the watch my initial reaction was who designed this thing - Mickey Mouse, but that was disparaging Mickey Mouse. I figured why not forget the watch and just get apps for the phone if it was going to use the phone to show what was being tracked.

Great look and the usual features for a hybrid...
Fossil makes great watches, and this is classy throughout.I prefer stainless to all other looks, and I also prefer it because it is the most waterproof and durable.I could only try this with my Samsung S8, not an IPhone, so the buyer should note the limitations on Iphone compatibility specified in the listing. The app is pretty slick on Android, making it easy to configure and control the phone. The buttons on the phone are customizable and a couple of analog readouts give you activity monitoring and important notification count.I think this will take about a month to get into the habit of using regularly. It is georgeous, so I am happy with that alone. The face is quite large, so it has a truly masculine look on the wrist, no unisex look watches for me. It comes in a nice gift box and has a very nice weight to it.Like many smart watch hybrids, it is rather thick and heavy. Again, this makes this clearly a man's watch, and for those of less weight or long distance runners, this may not be the watch for you, because it could be cumbersome. For me it is fine, and I like the heavy look like Rolex's have. The watch comes in a very nice gift box. So it is impressive as a gift. The app works well and is easy to figure out. I didn't like that I had to have an account, but it stores information there about the phone, so it makes you create yet another account with a username and password. I won't downgrade it for that, because many do it, I just hate it and see no gain for having it. I can store my info on my laptop or phone and keep a history for a very long period without having to resort to storing it on the web. So really, the account is more of a marketing tactic, and sure enough, they try to sell you a couple of products in the process.Overall, the use as a smart phone is very simple. A feature these watches should have though and I have not seen one yet that does, is to allow you to put in a storage card with support for 64 Gig, a small camera for stills and videos and a decent music player that all work all on the watch rather than using the watch as a remote control for the phone. Seems like it would be trivial to do, and that watch would be much more useful.
