Does not work
Several years ago, VW did a recall on their headlights. Whatever the changes were, this aftermarket bulbs do not work in my car. Worried that it might be the headlight assembly, I swapped the bulb socket from the other headlight. This socket was an OEM part. It worked. I wound up driving to the closest VW dealership to buy an OEM VW part. 1/10 would not recommend.

The lights work but the sockets don't
I couldn't figure it out, but something very minuscule is different from the OEM sockets. One of mine went out and since I needed to replace both the light and the socket, I thought this was a good deal and grabbed it up. But, while the lights would work in my own socket, no matter which way I turned it, no matter how many times I tried (At least 15 times), I got no action with these sockets. I ordered a different set from another seller (minus the added bulbs) and it worked as soon as I plugged it in. I'm very disappointed as I had to wait two more days to get new sockets. Thankfully they have free returns, so I am returning them. This was for my 2013 VW Passat.

Buyer Beware
First, VW did a horrible job in placement of the low beam headlight. But these things don't come close to fitting. All I managed to do was skin my knuckles trying to get them in. These are the worst items I have ever bought on Amazon.
