Looks good, seems sturdy, well packaged and easy to assemble
While this is not marketed as an exercise bench that is actually what I purchased it for. I wanted something that would look nice in my family room. I’m not a hardcore gym rat but if I want a more hardcore workout then that’s where I go. I needed something that would work for me at home for when I don’t go to the gym for some reason. I like that I can store items such as small weights and exercise bands inside. I can probably put light weights on the metal shelf too. I don’t plan to put heavy weights on or in it.It looks as pictured. It is made out of metal and plastic (not wood). The cushion seems comfortable . I’m short so I can lie back on it to press dumbbells. It was easy enough to put together. All pieces are numbered and connecting pieces are lettered. Instructions are clear and even someone who can’t read can easily follow them. My only suggestion is to use an actual Phillips head screwdriver instead of the provided tool; otherwise five stars for instructions and ease of assembly. I did need my husband’s help to install the top, I held it while he screwed; otherwise, I did it myself. Item came well packaged and was delivered promptly. I am looking forward to making good use of it.

Sturdy
This is a nice piece of furniture! It looks more expensive than it is and feels very solid. It looks great in my foyer and I love the shoe rack on the bottom.

Nice Product!
It’s made a great addition to our home. Looks great and is sturdy. Only issue was a few of the holes weren’t perfectly aligned so it made building it a little harder. I recommend attaching the side legs to the storage box before fully tightening the shoe platform at the base. Gives you a little wiggle room to work with if you run in to the same problem.

Looks very nice
Easy to assemble. Looks good and has some weight to it. Not bad for the price.

Well made and useful
This storage bench was purchased for the area by my front door. It is very sturdy and has a generous storage compartment as well as a shelf to put shoes on. While it is made well, we ran into a few issues with the fact that there were no holes pre-drilled for screws but other than that, it is wonderful.

Cute, functional bench fir the price.
Shipped and arrived in a timely manner. Arrived without damage. Lots of pieces to assemble is the only drawback. Luckily my husband has the patience. It’s a cute, functional and sturdy bench for the price.

Extremely difficult solo/hand tool assembly
The finished product is mostly fine. Functional, looks more or less the way I was hoping. Seat cushion is significantly misaligned, so I ended up having to position it more strategically than I wanted to to hide that. The assembly experience is so poor, that any review saying it's easy (especially for one person) should be viewed with skepticism.Assembly issues:1. The included tools are completely insufficient to get the job done, particularly getting the leverage for screws in the later steps2. The screws holding the wooden compartment together are not flush, and so make the box wider than the space it fits into. This means that you have to loosen the entire frame and retighten it in the opposite order from the instructions, or the metal will bow out3. Screw holes are not drilled. You're expected to get wood screws in, straight, by hand, through other loose pieces of hardware, using little more than a punch mark to get started. As mentioned by point #1, this is simply not possible with the included bottom-shelf hybrid mini-allen-wrench-screwdriver4. Eight of the aforementioned undrilled screw "holes" are so close to the sides of the box that there is not space to turn a screwdriver if attempting to install the screw straight5. The screw "holes" on the seat are misaligned, both in the sense that using them will result in the bench being offset and the hardware (hinges and strut) not being able to line up with their marks at the same time. By this point the customer is effectively required to be making their own screw holes6. There is no good way to install the seat/lid; it must be attached while open because the hinges are internal, but the geometry of the design means that either the base or the lid cannot be resting stably on the ground while you do this. My solution was to have the entire base resting on the last 1/8" of the seat while screwing the hinges in7. This wouldn't be a problem if not for the previous points, but you basically have to trust the placement of the screw "holes" when it comes to installing the strut as it is otherwise quite difficult to locate its proper positionWhat should have been a fairly simple piece of flat pack furniture--something I quite enjoy assembling--ended up being five hours across two days, an immense level of frustration, and a strained wrist. Do not believe reviews saying it's easy.

Everything I thought it would be.
I wanted a bench to hold my winter items (hats, gloves, scarf, etc.) and also a place to put shoes & boots and also be able to sit down. The directions were super easy with all the bags marked to fit the instruction booklet. It’s sturdy and sound. Great product!
