Crayola Washable Tempera Paint For Kids, Brown Paint, Classroom Supplies, Non Toxic, 32 Oz Squeeze Bottle

We have been stripping layers of paint off of doors, baseboards, window frames/windows, door trim, and floors, in our 117 year old home, for 20 years, now. We're still at it, and we're tired. So now that we're in the living room, scraping, we have a bay with 4 windows in it and I just can't even face it. With my big lottery win I know is coming, I'll hire people to scrape all of that, but in the meantime, I had the brilliant idea of WASHABLE PAINT. I bought the brown, and a month ago, tried it on a patch of painted window trim. As I say, I let it dry there for a month. Today I washed it off like a temporary tattoo--except even easier. No elbow grease required, it came right off. I did one full section of the trim and darned if it doesn't look really nice! Good enough until my lottery ship comes in and I can pay others to do the scraping for me. Until then, it matches my old growth fir trim quite well and allows the living room to look all pulled together. Great product.

I love the washable tempera paint. It was great for a school crafting event. It did come out of my kid clothes with some stain spray. It does slightly discolor your skin but it does go away (very temporary). It worked great on the canvas panels and dried fairly fast (a few hours depending on the thickness).

I used this for a Halloween Project. Yes, I'm an adult, and my friends and I did an elaborate haunted house in 2013.I used this on some cardboard over blue camping foam to create fake wooden planks (silver nail polish to create fake nail heads and velcro to stick to the doorway)It worked well and it looked convincing in the dark.

We used this paint to paint the outside of our siding for Halloween to make it look more rustic. It was perfect. It made the look complete and it washed off with a little bit of dish soap and water. Excellent for us.

I am not sure what happened to the formula for the brown, but it is not a deep of a brown anymore and had a strange, thin consistency. Was a little disappointed with this product this time.

I love this paint! The price is very economical, the color is vibrant, the paint is thick so it doesn't run, but the best part is that it is washable. My 3-year-old has gotten this paint everywhere: the carpet, wood floors, his and my clothes, his sister's hair. It's come out of everything with a little bit of water and very little scrubbing. I also like the fact that it's non-toxic since it's made of organic compounds, so even if it ends up in his mouth (which it has), it's not a big deal.I was wondering what Tempera means and my research led me to define it simply as fast-drying paint that consists of pigment and a binding agent, like egg yolk. It also makes the paint very long-lasting. Some tempera paintings still exist from the first century AD, so that finger painting my 3 year old just did may to be around a while!
