I unboxed this and put it on our bed immediately. Our old bed was essentially a cobbled-together king size version of misery. We have to put our funds towards what is needed for adult disabled son; no room in budget for a good mattress OR. Chiropractor.This is listed as a mattress topper. Honestly; it may as well be a more tailored version of a futon mattress. I didn’t even put the old twin mattresses on our bed first yet, as is the plan. I’m so desperate for good sleep and to spare my husband, myself and a few cats from another bout of miserable and painfuln half-sleep.I went from one extreme to the other: this is so incredibly comfortable. I can turn over and move around on the bed, but don’t need to. It’s just ….. it’s so …. Wow, do other people sleep this well???!!!! Cuz maybe we now know why Inusually have a resting bitch face that even Wolverine’s mama couldn’t have loved.If you’re caught in a shopping loop, or worried about spending your tight budget and actually wasting it, relax and buy this product. You have time to return it if need be. You even have time to let it open and breathe for a day as they recommend. I just opened the box, put it all on my bed, and went to bed immediately after I took a pain med and a muscle relaxer for what was already wrong with me from original bed. I didn’t even put a covering sheet down. I just paid down, pulled covers over, registered a mental “huh!” And was out like a light.Trust this one. Even if by some oddity you don’t like it, it’s easy enough to return, but why would you want to?!Buying two more; one for each son who both have bad backs. I use this for my queen sized, pull out couch to add softness and better support to the mattress. It seems to do just that which is great! My guests said it felt very good and they slept very well on it. I agree with others who have written it's not really a 4 inch total height. But since I'm using it with an already decent mattress underneath, it didn't really matter. I would say it's about 3 inches including the topper. What mattered most to me was comfort and firmness which it has. The only drawback, at least at this time that I can see, is storage. Since I can't store it in the pull out couch, I am instead "storing it" on a queen size guest bed that I have. Not a big inconvenience. I just didn't want to fold it up and risk damaging it. I would definitely recommend it.

First, I want to say the pros. The 1st Pro is that it is def a good thick memory foam. The top cover is definitely deep enough to cover the foam and be snug under and around your Mattress. I have slept on it for almost a week and my arms do not go numb anymore. I have a very expensive mattress that has a special lumbar middle to prevent sagging and back pain. My mattress is amazing but too firm. This topper helped alleviate the pressure point issues I was having with sleeping. Now the CONS. 1st of all…. The chemical smell! OMG it makes your eyes and nostrils burn. It is not something that can be ignored. It smells like nail polish and formaldehyde! Horrible. I almost sent it back because my lungs burned from the smell! I mean I’ve never smelled anything so horrible in my life. It is winter in Western PA so airing it outside is impossible! I tried to let it air out before I slept on it but it needed a few days to do so. I have a king size bed so airing it out in a separate room was not happening. I had to open my windows in my bedroom and turn my ceiling fan on for an entire day turning the foam over mid day. Then I sprayed it with Febreeze. It’s been a week and it is ok to sleep on, but it still has a faint smell. The topper is not 2 inches.. it is at most 1/2 inch and it is not cooling. It actually makes me warm. Overall I have to keep it because how can I return it?? And the foam is great. If you don’t want to endure the smell and process then don’t order. Otherwise it is a decent topper I just don’t understand why it smells so badly??

We have a hard foam mattress which hurt her hips when she woke up in the morning... Looking for something to "ease the pain" without buying a new bed. This product came and the foam part is a bit bigger than our standard King Mattress.... we don't see this as a detriment... we can easily trim it with some scissors. The Quilted pad went over everything and fit firmly on our deep mattress... It hasn't moved or come off at night.. and I know I toss and turn. The topper is a bit harder than we wanted.. but it is new... I am sure that it will ease up a bit in a month or so. I must say.. it did make the bed easier to sleep on.. and the pain in her side is better.. and my arm doesn't fall asleep when I sleep on my side.... Overall 4 stars at this point... Maybe 5 stars in a month....

This topper is incredibly comfortable. I have a hard time getting out of it in the morning!! It did take me a couple of days to get used to it because I thought it was too soft. My only complaint is there is a very strong chemical smell when you unpack it. It will knock you off your socks!! I had to shove it in my walk in closet and close the door, and leave it in there to air out for a couple of days. I also don’t really like that it’s made in China. I usually always buy products that are made in the USA, but did not realize this until it was noted on the box that it is not made here.

I was searching on here for ages. There are so many different types of mattresses topper and many of them are quite expensive.I bought a matress that, once it arrived, was obviously much MUCH firmer than the display model in the shop. It was like laying on solid ground, which when you've spent over £1,000 on it....is dissapointint to say the least.I took a gamble and bought this and I am so glad I did. It had puffed out and regained it's shape within 3 hours. No smell and no damage.It's transformed the bed into exactly what I need. Cushioning on my overly wide hips whilst still being very supportive underneath.I can't recommend this matress topper enough. It doesn't make me too hot at night and even if it started to loose its shape/bounceback after year, I'd pay the money again for a new one. It really makes the bed THAT much more comfortable.
