NifelizTrain Station, Railway Station Display Set, Collectible Building Model Toy for Adult Gift Giving (2,649 Pieces)

My 9 year old had so much fun assembling this station. It is so detailed and looks amazing. He even insisted on getting a turning tray to sit it on so he can spin it around to see all sides since each side has a different room to look at. Some of the reviews said the roof was difficult to put on. He did not have that issue and did the entire thing on his own.

I would give this 3 1/2 stars, if I had the option. This is a good value for the money and it is BEAUTIFUL! But ... the pieces are bendy: the plates at the bottom, the longer plank pieces, even some of the tiles look warped. Some pieces are hard to "click" together and when they do, it's hard to get them apart. Some of the bendier pieces don't have that click-in-place feel. I've built other large house/city sets and this has been more challenging because some of the instructions aren't clear, which led to taking apart mini-builds and rebuilding. I'll be honest, my fingertips are sore, and that's never happened with other manufacturer's sets. I know when this is completely finished I'll LOVE it, but I wish I had more insight into what I was getting into.

Positive: Love all the details! Bread in the bakery, newspapers and periodicals in the newsstand, elegant street light next to the bus stop. Absolutely thrilled to have this as part of my collection.Neutral: For those familiar with LEGO, these pieces don't quite assemble smoothly, it does at times take some strength. I found the roof to be very difficult to add to the rest of the structure. The directions could use some work to make it readily obvious what you are adding to the build. For this reason, I selected 4 stars for ease of assembly. It is possible, but a younger person could easily become frustrated.Negative: I also purchased the light kit but there were no instructions on where to install the lights.I have already purchased additional kits and look forward to the experience. I was missing 2 parts to the build. I reached out to customer service and had such a positive experience. The missing pieces were sent directly to me without delay, and no questions asked. Easy to communicate with customer service, rapid response...fantastic!

Good addition to a city-scape. Solid brand, good quality.Suggest building on a MILS plate (I should have but didn’t)

This is an excellent train station/modular building type set. There were no missing pieces which is what I worried about the most. The pieces themselves were not as good as Lego brand quality but pretty close. The part that really impressed me about the set is the overall design aesthetics. It really looks great and comes together very well. Lots of well thought out details. This will look great in a Lego city layout with a passenger train needing a station.

The positives: This model has so much detail. The newsstand, passenger hall and the little added extras outside make it more than just a stand alone model, it will be incorporated into my town layout.The neutrals: The roof of the station is very challenging, the pieces don't quite go together smoothly and the steps could probably use a slight revision for its final installation as it is very difficult to line up the male-female ball joints with the front half arch lattice work in place. One part was the wrong size plate but it was common size and color that I had plenty of already on hand, not related to the other missing part described below.The one negative: There is a light kit included but no instructions on where the parts are to be installed.Positive customer service experience: I was missing a key part and contacted them about a replacement which they responded to quickly and I received the missing part in the mail about 10 days later which was an acceptable turn around time.

This was an awesome very detailed and super fun build for my son. He is 15 and autistic and lego/building bricks that's his jam right now and I'm loving the other choices besides lego that has really cool builds with a lot of pieces and not spend a bunch of money. Lego compatible NOT mini or micro bricks. I hate when we order and there is nothing that says mini or micro in the description and the disappointment in my son's eyes when we see the micro bricks. So that is why I wanted to do this review not only is is super fun, cool and very detailed it's lego compatible so your fingers and eyes will enjoy building this! Lol! Well worth the money!

The quality of the pieces was good and I had no issues with them. Some of the pieces have things printed on them and the quality of the ink isn't the best, but it's a minor thing. This set does not come with minifigures which was disappointing considering the same set sold by other brands does come with them.
