Slow electronics, unnecessary steps, leak detection useless
I believe this may be the most universally hated piece of automotive service equipment ever created. To start with, membrane keys. The absolute worst. And then it just beats you to death with details. For example even though the machine has not been disconnected from the wall or the vehicle, going back to the main menu will cause you to have to re-enter the VIN number every, single, time. I assume due to the cheapest possible processor, the boot up sequence takes as long as five minutes. I am unsure what is going on during the “identifier” loading and heat up process but it will fail that test and then immediately pass it right away, so either the mechanicals are faulty or the testing diagnostic algorithms are faulty, but what that equals is, your time being wasted. Then you were subject to a 10 to 20 minute process (can be longer) of a vacuum leak test, which has not one single time assisted in finding a leak on a vehicle that has one. I unfortunately don’t have any experience with other machines for servicing this type of Freon but I would be willing to bet that they could not possibly be worse.

This is slow a time wast
Hate this machine takes forever to do anything have to enter vin too much load machine with Freon 1.4kgs and machine says too low to charge 0.425kgs system then fill more the re enter vin again when never unhooked. The vacuum test is stupid we can see if it goes down this machine is a waste of your time!!!!! I would give it negative stars hate it with a passion

Worst product and customer service ever
As an automatic repair facility we rely on creating a positive customer experience. I purchased my Robinair machine December of 2020. It’s been down for repairs 3 times. It broke a 4th time (leaking Freon) and When I called Robinair’s technical support I was advised to BUY a new machine because they cannot get parts. Completely unacceptable and I will never purchase a machine for any of my centers.

Confusing pos
Software is dumb as can be. Machine has a mind of its own performing processes that have never been heard of by air conditioning technicians. Normal procedure that should take 20 minutes takes over 2 hours
