Had a Hunter ceiling fan that came with chandelier bulb sockets (ZE-301D) similar to this ZE-310D product. Could not find bright enough warm or cool white bulbs for it to save my life, 'bright white' was the only kind sold by the big-box stores for LED bulbs with more than 40-watt equivalent light output. Those 'bright white' bulbs gave my office a very harsh, grayish "prison cell movie set" look, very depressing to work in.Finally decided to bight the bullet and see if swap options existed for the socket portion. Hunter was no help, only because my fan was too old for them to still stock replacement parts. I don't fault them, there is a point a company can't keep parts in stock for everything they ever made. Turns out Amazon sells something that looks like it will fit the bill, so why not take a closer look and see if it would work. Long story short, it did!Had to do a little rework to make it fit properly, the holes are wider on the larger (310D) socket holder, but a Dremel tool with cutoff wheel made short work of that task -- I cut the old bracket between the existing holes and remounted it to the new socket's wider spaced holes -- and warmer color-tone, brighter bulbs could be used in the ceiling fan. My office already has a 1000% better working environment!Not quite the plug and play as I had hoped, but worth the work making it work :-)

No quick clips
the picture shows and implies these include the snap on clips shown here. it does not, so while the light fits, plan on cutting and soldering or nutting the wires together.Also, keep the old fixture until you done. this replacement didn't accommodate for my light cover and i had to use my old pieces.

Saved a tenant damaged ceiling fan
Fan was fairly new, tenant yanked the chain so hard it broke out. Was able to save the rest of the fan ( and installation time)

Perfect replacement.
My old light socket for my hunter ceiling fan got damaged when it was bumped too hard while moving some furniture around. It had become very loose and the pull chain stopped working completely. This was a perfect replacement. Very easy to install and much cheaper than some other ones I've seen. Thumbs up from me!
