FRIDJA f1000 Professional Vertical Garment/Steamer Ideal for Suits and Delicate Materials Including Wedding Dresses, Easy to Use - Updated Model (Black Steam Iron) [Energy Class A++]

This is my second clothes steamer from Fridja, and they are really good. The reason I had to get second one is because I didn't realise how important it is to use distilled water and my appliance became choked up with mineral deposits. I now get the distilled water from Halfords. It took a few tries to get the hang of using a steamer, but then I wouldn't go back to an ordinary iron. I can get everything done so quickly, same heat setting for everything, no scorching and no shiney patches. My second steamer was faulty on arrival, but when I contacted the customer service team at Fridja, everything was sorted out straight way, the people at this company know what Customer Service means. Can recommend the product highly.

Flimsy.. Stopped working after about 6 uses. Water tank isn't secure it just sits loosely in a slot, when you carefully roll the steamer it dribbles water all on the floor from the sides (tank wasn't full). The hanger and clips are flimsy and only hold really light clothes. The steamer itself isn't strong, takes ages to get faint creases out, spits boiling water out at my clothes and on me a few times.For the price I was very disappointed and considering it stopped steaming after a few uses was even more disappointing.. had to get a refund.

It would be more effective if the ON/OFF switch was operated by foot. You have to keep bending down to switch it off if you want to pause steaming for a bit.Not powerful enough for heavy jeans and the likes.However, it's handy, compact and works well for lightweight materials. A good steamer.

Bought this as a refurb. The blurb says about what cosmetic damage may be on the unit but the one delivered to me just looks new. With the additional promo, under £50. Delighted. Easy to put together and works as well as I expected so all good.

I bought this to replace a steam generator, and it is much easier than ironing

Product seemed alright at the beginning, easy to assemble and easy to use. Not the greatest in terms of working magic on clothes, but good enough to smooth the most visible creases. Then after about 6 months it stopped working. I contacted Fridja customer service, which from the very first contact seemed to be going out of their way to tell me, in a very patronising way, how I must have used their product wrong and were not very helpful or pleasant to deal with. Luckily Amazon's customer service team was able to assist me getting the item returned with no fuss no hassle and with a much more client oriented attitude. I wouldn't recommend it, mainly because if something goes wrong with the product you won't be getting much help (or even sympathy) from the company / manufacturer.

Bought this item in February. I has been used multiple times as I run my own clothing company. I've had it just near on 4 month and it's now not working. It turns on but will not pull steam through! It has been maintained correctly and cleaned out once a month following instruction manual. Very disappointing as the item itself is actually really good and would give 5 star review. But I didn't expect it to break on me after 4 months. Can't even get in touch with anyone about a replacement.

Had one previously for approximately 9 years. Very good and handy for all steaming especially when needing a quick refresh or taking out the creases that appear even when hanging in a wardrobe!
