Updated review - Durapower stands up for their product
This light is very bright and reasonably light weight with a comfortable pistol grip.The instruction/user manual is exceptionally poor and I only discovered how to charge the thing by trial and error (hint - the back cover unscrews).The biggest issue I have is that you have to cycle through the light modes to switch the thing off - so that means having to have blinking light while you press again to get to off. Is this a deal breaker? If I were to use it a lot, no, but it can’t take much to add a ‘emergency flash’ button or similar - for the price this is a major let down that doesn’t differentiate it from other cheaper generic Chinese lights.Update:After just a few months of occasional use the center of the LED has burned out, result is a big circular dark patch in the beam.I never had it on high power for more than a few minutes - not acceptable for a $70 light, very disappointed because it was a very good light until that point.Update 2: i sent Durapower customer services an email with photos of the burned LED - they responded the same day and by day 2 a replacement was on its way. Since Durapower not only make a good product they quickly and efficiently made it good when the product went bad. I have reinstated my rating and added a star for their excellent customer service.

Very bright.
Bought the light on Feb. 1,2024. Was just what I was looking for.Now 5 months later I have big dark spot in the center of me beam.LED bulb has a burned spot in the center. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

This light was great for the first 4-5 months. Then it developed a halo effect on the light beam. It blocks anything within 5-10 degrees center of the beam.

DURAPOWER has offered me a full refund and obviously stands behind their product.I purchased this spotlight for sailing at night. I would plug it in to charge any time we went out on the boat. I didn't have to use it for many months after purchase. Then, when I needed it, I realized that it wasn't charged. I tried plugging it in to charge and even after 24 hours it didn't take a charge. I don't know if it ever took a charge since I've had it. However, after having this spotlight for 9 months, it is completely useless.
