Excellent Product
Bought this to use with Bose QuietComfort 35 (Series 2) headphones but at first it would not work. I emailed Support at TaoTronics UK and received a reply from Kitty who was very helpful. I still could not get them to pair however but it would with Bluetooth speakers I have so I knew the issue was not with the transmitter. Looking through a Bose forum I saw that someone else had the same issue and the fix was to delete the pairing list on the headphones themselves. I did this and they connected straight away with the transmitter and the sound quality is very good. Excellent product and good customer service.

Small with good battery life, excellent to bluetooth enable your car.
I've only used this to receive not transmit so I'll review this based on what I use it, which is playing music from my Galaxy Note 8 phone to my car audio system.First this thing is tiny, it's roughly 1.5 inches square. It has only two controls, a switch for choosing transmit or receive mode and a button for pairing and power on/off. Despite it's small size it'll run off its internal battery (in receive mode) for between 8-12 hours on average I find this pretty impressive and you always have the option of plugging in the USB charge cable and charging while it's in use. It doesn't come with a USB charger just the cable, that's not a concern for me though something to keep in mind.Initially they say charge it for 2 hours before first use. I followed these instructions and then paired it with my Note 8 with no problems. I plugged the supplied 3.5mm audio cable into my AUX input in my Audi and....that was it. Chose the external source on my car audio system fired up Spotify and we were in business. To me the audio clarity and volume is no different than when I plugged the phone directly into the AUX input....so I'm happy. Now when I get in the car I start up the car, hold the button on the TT-BA12 to power it up and in a few seconds it and my phone are paired up and ready to go. Now my Audi has an in-car bluetooth setup for phone calls but not music (hence why I needed this) and I had some concerns that this might complicate matters. Fortunately my Note 8 can be setup so I can choose that the call audio still goes to car system and media audio is sent to the TT-BA12 simultaneously...no choosing which one is connected they both are.I can't speak to range as my phone is only about ever about 3-4 feet from receiver when in use.Now the price. I got this as a lightning deal while it was already on sale. RRP is £59, I wouldn't pay that based on what I use it for. Sale price is £29, this is what I'd be willing to pay and is worth it at this price point (again based on my requirements)...the extra £5(ish) off with the deal was just icing on the cake.

Small and Powerful
Small and powerful.Have been using this for over a week now and it has had 3 charges so far, each charge has lasted over 8 hrs which is pretty good for a unit only 2 inches square. Sometimes I leave it plugged in to power source and it charges a little even in use.No latency that is distinguishable and is very easy to setup with my LG LED 49UJ670V TV. Once connected its saved and only needs confirmation each time I turn it on with the TV. Volume control is good and works perfectly from 15 ft away.Only used it to receive and not transmit atm so can't review the latter, but right now I'm a happy bunny. It comes with USB charging cable, a jack to jack and a phono adaptor with basic instructions etc.

Wow brilliant gizmo
I only got this today but wow what a gizmo , ordered 2 more for friends. I love my iPod classic plus other non Bluetooth compatible music systems. I was being told by so many so called experts that I'd have to buy new iPod but why when happy with classic? I'd been searching for a while , being over 40 I'm not tech savvy but reviews looked like this was the gadget so deep breath and bought it. So easy to set up and pair perfect. Works on my CD players, just plug into headphone socket with plugs that come with it. I did read instructions and charged up before first use. It's early days but so far I'm thrilled. Thank you

Defective sound
This unit arrived quickly and well packed. The box contains more than enough cables to get started - a USB charge cable, stereo cable, and two channel stereo to 3.5mm female cable.Connection to mobile phone and to PC in transmitter/receiver mode was a breeze to set up.However, there was an intermittent 'ticking' sound that was extremely annoying to ears. It's the kind of sound that comes from speakers if one taps their input jack with hand. The magnitude of defect is a bit of a shocker.

Disappointed
I can’t recommend this.Read the reviews stating good battery life and other such things but my experience was the opposite.Didn’t last 24 hours on a full charge with 1 hour of actual use.The aux cable that comes with it had a loose connection so my sound was only coming out one side of my headphones unless the wire was held a certain way. Replaced with another aux lead I had then that problem was resolved. still should of had to do that though..The absolute biggest annoyance though is the sound constantly fading in and out (no I’m not out of range) as if some sort of short timeout feature. When someone talks on the tv and they finish their sentence and there is a moment of quiet before the next person speaks, there is a noticeable drop off and then when someone starts talking again it starts transmitting again. However, this is not bearable as it cuts out part of their first word and if there is any subtle background music it is constantly fading in and out.Turning the device on seems a silly design as well, I shouldn’t have to hold the button for 4 seconds then release then when I see the flashing light press the button again - just to turn the damn thing on!! Should simply be a switch or one button press.

Headphone Bluetooth
Purchased to use Bluetooth headphones with TV (modern TVs do not have the A2DP to work) charged up and it paired easily with my Bose and Sony headphone sets. Sound good, no latency perceived. Recommended.
