Really nice sound: crisp, clear and smooth, deep base, zero distortion.Comfy wear.Quite beautifully designed.Easy to plug and play: I charged the headset with included USB cable. The lights pulse indicating charge. Stopped pulsing when charged. I unplugged the charge cable, plugged the dongle into xbox1 while it was off ( just in case, I switched Xbox 1 off by pressing main power button for at least ten seconds for a full reset) , switched on xbox1. The headset icon appeared alongside the controller battery indicator in homescreen. I pressed the circular headset button set into the left earphone for 3 seconds to turn on the headset. Lights come on. That's it. It worked great.Notes might help because manual not necessarily clear: Toggle the microphone on/off by single-pressing ear button. Note that chat-speak only comes through headphones and NEVER the TV (at least in Battlefield or Xbox 1 home- you can now speak to Cortana btw without a Kinnect). Long-press to switch it off. A second smaller button right next to the microphone toggles between normal and rich-base sounds. If you press the second button for a long time, it cycles which colour you want the lights to be, including lights off. Let go of button when it reaches colour (or off) you want. There's no need to bend the microphone boom at all. You can leave it straight. It works really well and quality actually degrades if you move it too close, plus leaving it straight out means you can still drink etc without hassle. I'm really impressedI think the reviewer who complained the microphone rubbed their shoulder must have been wearing them back-to-front LOL

Cheaper versions I've found have poor sound quality or the mic stops working after a few weeks. This is comfortable and decent quality don't bother with the cheaper ones up to £20 you will either pay twice or end up buying this.

This headset has been used on Xbox Live for my son to speak to his cousins whilst playing Fifa and he says it works well. It's fairly sturdy and well built, its a good fit on my son's head and he says it is comfortable to wear. You need to remember that it's plugged into the controller though or headsets and / or controllers will be flying everywhere due to the wired connection! Overall I'd say this is a good value for money headset. Serious gamers might want something more expensive but it worked fine for us!

love this, an Economical headset, exceptionally clear sound, use it when I'm playing world of tanks, as I have no other 'multiplayer games' right now, sound is crisp and clear, using it with the controller adapter, as my controller had no headphone port... as i say works fine, better than my other headset which used an adapter to get from the 2.5mm jack to 3.5mm then to the controller addapter, perhaps the 2 adapters where my problem, but this headset means i don't need one of those... anyways works fine does what its suposed to do, should last long enough, and if not well its cheap enough to buy a couple of spares

The wires from the earphones are frayed as we have been sent used ones. Also the foam cover from the microphone is missing.This is the 2nd set having to be sent back as the first ones had a faulty microphone.It's very disappointing to have poor quality goods and wastes so much time and effort In making returns.I cannot recommend this product to anyone if our experience is typical from this manufacturer.

Good sound mics okay but for anyone with adult ears they aren't the best fit, far too small and tight, hurt my ears like crazy

Great headset for the price mic is clear and sound quality pretty good. Seemed a bit tight at first but I wear glasses and like a loose fitting headset so after I streched them out over the box overnight they were perfect. The wire to the headset only connects on one side which I prefer instead of the wires going into both ear cups. Has a 3.5mm aux so fits right into the new controller headphone port or into the stereo adapter without needing the 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable.

Bought for my 15 yr old for Christmas. He loves them. Excellent sound, blocks out all background noise. Comfy to wear and easy to charge through console. He has had various wired headphones which have always broken. Well worth the extra money...
