Update: Updating review from 1 to 5 stars. Excellent customer service! Shortly after posting my review I was contacted by customer service who promptly offered to replace the table. I was told I did not have to send the other one back (I initially hadn't contacted customer service because typically you must disassemble, repackage, and ship back and I did not want to go through the hassle of all that). Table arrived within just a few days and assembled with no issues, is well-built and sturdy. I did purchase a set of coasters to keep the tops looking nice. The drawer works great and is bigger than I expected. Ordered with the intention of just having a place to store the remotes, but am pleased that it's actually wide enough to hold a notebook-sized pad of paper. My only complaint is the appearance of the plug feature, and this may not be an issue for anyone else. If you face the sofa, I am using this table on the right-hand side, which conceals the plug as it's on the side nearest the sofa. If you were to use the table on the other end of the sofa, the plug is exposed. This would be fine if the table were in a corner or not in a walk-way. However, my sofa is "floating" in the center of the room with tables on either end, the main walk-way passes directly by the end of the sofa and table. The black plug and cord are very obvious. An alternative would be to use a white or light brown plug, or even provide extra sticky paper like what they provide to cover the assembly holes to conceal the edges around the plug. Other than that, the table is great and I would recommend.The pieces of the table seemed very well built upon removing them from the box. Instructions were clear, and parts were clearly labeled. Assembly was fairly straight forward, and I really liked the sturdy feel as I was assembling. However, as I was nearing the end, I turned the table around to complete assembly on the other side, only to notice that the coating had peeled. Apparently it's tissue-thin. If it was to be placed with the back against a wall, it wouldn't be a big deal, but this table is at the end of a floating couch, so it's obvious. It's too much of a hassle to disassemble and send back so I'm probably just stuck with it. I had planned on ordering a 2nd one if I liked this one, but have decided against it. Ir's a shame that it feels like a solid piece, but they use such thin "veneer."

This is a perfect small end table. Our house is small, and I was looking for something for our living room that would fit a lamp and a few sundries without taking up too much room. This fits the bill, besides being attractively cute and sturdy. The only problem is in the assembly. You need to know about lock nuts, which is what is used to attach the bolts for the legs. This is something neither my husband nor I had any experience with before encountering them with this item. My husband learned about lock nuts by talking to a knowledgeable person at our hardware store. You put it on the bolt with the round part of the nut facing up and then tighten it down with a wrench, forcing it through the resistance until the nylon threads grip the bolt and make it tight. At first, my husband thought the nuts didn't fit the bolts because of the resistance, but we found out they were fine. After that the construction went quickly and smoothly. The instructions would have been better if they had explained this little bit of carpentry knowledge that we didn't have, being non-carpenters with no experience building furniture. Otherwise, it's a great product and we are very happy with it.

These nightstands are a great inexpensive choice. They look nice, are easy to assemble, and are sturdy. I've had them for 5 months now and would definitely recommend them. The tables are wrapped to give them the wood look. One table corner did have a slight lift in the wrap, but nothing I cared too much about. I just turned that corner to the back. For the price these tables are a worth it.

Easy to put together! I didn't even need my husband's help! Didn't take very long and it's just the perfect addition to our living room. So obsessed with it. Super sturdy and lightweight. Color will match any decor! You won't be disappointed in this side table!

These two end tables arrived very quickly. Well packed. A little bit complicated to put together, but once assembled are absolutely beautiful. They look more expensive than they are priced and we are thoroughly enjoying them. You won’t be disappointed

This set is so pretty!! Putting together is a little time consuming , but so worth it , they are very sturdy.

So the product looked nice once assembled and the materials seemed to be of ok quality. But two things would cause me to think twice about ordering from this company again. First, although the instructions are better than other products you put together yourself, they are still not that good. I wonder if the owner of the company has ever asked an average" person to put it together and just watched the process. Areas where more detailed diagrams would have helped. This is NOT as easy as they make it sound. Doable but just be aware it's a bit of a project. Secondly, some of the parts do not seem to be machined as well as they could be. There are four little nuts that should easily hand tighten until you need to use the provided tool to tighten at the end. However, you need the tool for most of this step, which is tedious and seems to me to indicate whoever machined these parts did not pay attention to detail or the engineering needed improvement. That added unnecessary time and frustration to what should be an easy assembly. The bottom line is that it is a good product and we are happy with it but it was an unnecessarily difficult assembly experience. But once together, I would recommend it.
