Iodine in an easy-to-use package
Povidone iodine, the generic name for Betadine, is a great antiseptic with broad activity and low chance of resistance. I recommend it for first aid kits for all the places I work with. The only problem is that it is extremely messy and likely to stain clothing. Confining it to a wipe like this solves the problem.I keep a box of these around in my first aid kit, and use them regularly. They are a bit more difficult to tear open than alcohol swabs - use the notch on each packet. The pad is thin, but gets the job done.Side note: Not sure why Amazon wanted me to rate the "flavor" of this product, but keep it away from kids that might eat it.

Must Have
Throw these in a ziplock and don’t go without them. Had fish gloves on and still got jabbed by a gaff top …… rubbed spot with these cloths and not even sore the next day

A key component of a first aid kit.
My go-to wound-cleaning tool in a secure and convenient package. I do recommend this product.

Sometimes hard to take out of packet
The packets are nicely scored near the bottom seam to tear open, but the pad itself is often glued to the top seam of the packet, making it hard to pull out through the bottom opening, and you can drop the pad itself in the process, requiring starting over with a clean pad. Not a tragedy, but a minor pain.

Travels packs
I used it for my dog who had yeast overgrowth on her paws. I like that it’s easy to apply straight out of the package.

Reasonable self-care...
My son smacked his head on our coffee table and split it open. 3 hours of waiting in an E.R. for a doctor to scrub the wound with iodine wipes and then use an $8 sterile staple gun. Total bill to insurance was almost $1000.Next time, if reasonable, I will use these wipes and an $8 sterile surgical staplegun to fix it myself without the crazy wait and $$.

OK - but some may be drying out
For routine use these are likely fine, when they are quickly used up. To have them in a back pack for emergency use may not work as well. In couple cases it seemed that the inside has dried out "somewhat." It was not entirely dry, but thick sticky liquid. It appeared to still work as a disinfectant, with the active substance retained, but it was not as well suited for cleansing.
