Easy to build, clean and sleek look to it

I must start by saying that overall this bedside table looks very nice once assembled.However, I do have a couple of quibbles:1. This is no 10 minute ikea-style assembly job! There are a lot of screws and nails and you need to be quite careful about doing it or you are liable to screw right through the wood as it is so soft. That said, it is not too difficult - just time consuming. Also, it is easily done with a screwdriver - no need for a drill.2. The drawers are not on runners - just a simple groove system with no stoppers at either end. This means that you have to be careful when opening them or they will almost completely fall out and when closing them because they have no set stopping point so will look very untidy unless you carefully stop them at the right point (as has been done in the photos).However, as you can see I have still rated the product as 4 stars because it is very good value for a solid pine piece of furniture and, in spite of my quibbles, it does look good.

Very good little set of drawers. The wood on the inside of each drawer is high so this means it will hold a lot more than lots of other type drawers The wood is very good and nice size of handles. Easily built. I just put nice patterned small plastic cover (waterproof) set on top to prevent dirt or anything that may spill. Does the job fine at the side of any bed.

Easy to build good quality will do the job

I am very impressed with this chest of draws, which will be used as a bedside table.In my job I often have to assemble flat pack furniture. This product was easy to put together as flat pack furniture goes; clear instructions, no missing parts, no damage, well packaged...The only negative thing I can write about it is the dowels and dowel holes could have been a tighter fit, they are a bit loose. A little wood glue would fix this. However even with the loose dowels the unit is still solid and sturdy.It looks a lot more expensive than it cost and draws run very smoothly.I would not hesitate to purchase this product again.

Arrived okay, but when I was half way through installing, I realised that the top piece was in 2 broken parts. It was clear from the fact that the 2 broken parts were completely separate that the breakage hadn't happened in transit (otherwise I would have noticed it was broken straightaway). So I was knowingly sent broken pieces. After contacting the seller, they eventually got back to me agreeing to send out a replacement part. There was no apology or explanation as to why I was sent a broken part. A few months passed before I tried to reassemble (I wasn't desperate to use this chest of drawers!). Assembly was not easy as the screws don't go into the wood as they should and when I had just about finished assembling, I noticed a smaller piece of wood was also broken and that the screws for the drawer knobs were missing. So I was left with a rickety and unsteady, (as the screws don't go into the wood properly) unfinished chest of drawers. As so long had passed since I received the order I didn't bother contacting the seller again, but my bonfire the other week benefitted. £60 or £70 down the drain, but I'll know better next time.

Putting it together easy instructions good.Dissapponted in the top of bedside cabinet dark patch appeared on top of bedside cabinet I removed with olive oil and salt mixed together that worked well.Another dark patch appeared and I was unable to remove this.I ended up buying a white oil based pen and dabbing that on which made it worse.I should have sent cabinet back but I had made it all up and couldn't be bothered.I advise if you order this furniture to check pieces before putting together.

A neat unit for lightweight use. Fairly easy to assemble.
