Great! Exactly what was needed to fit under my desk and backwards, so my office chair can glide easily on a newly laid thick carpet. The mat is very stiff and thick - I rolled it out in opposite direction and sat two chairs either end to "unroll" it as it woudn't immediately sit flat - it tells you this in the instructions.

This mat is thick and chair rolls easily, only one star off because it does move a lot and curls a bit still at edges.

although it was a little difficult to 'unroll', the mat was left out in the sunshine with a brick on each corner for a day, afterwhich it retained its 'flattened shape' and has continued to do so. I have cloud 9 underlay and a thick pile carpet which prevented my office chair moving back and forth, but this mat is flat, rigid and allows movement of the chair in all directions.

Good strong mat however I have found one key problem. The last mat I bought came as a flat unit and so sat on carpet really easily.This version came rolled up and despite following the instructions (leaving heavy weights to flatten the mat out) the mat still does not sit fully flat on the carpet despite trying to flatten it for the best part of a month.

Robust and smooth

It is impossibly hard to roll out. When it's as flat as you can make it and you try to weigh it down, that doesn't work. You need very heavy weights. Not the kind of things people have lying around.I decided to just have it slightly curved. But in a month or two it's 'set' in this position and hardened and now started shattering when the wheels of my chair go over it, making these lethal sharp plastic shards.This is the wrong type of plastic. This product should be pulled from Amazon and not sold.**UPDATE**The company saw my review and offered a full refund. Due to this, I've upgraded the review by a star. Big credit to them for offering a refund, I wasn't expecting it.
