Variable potentiometer system, great air flow for price but noisy when pushing 50% capacity or higher, wish it had a Variable temperature sensor

I bought this to vent a small closet full of servers that was getting hot. This unit does work well, but the fan motors have a whining, growling sound, even at the lowest setting. The fan noise is reminiscent of an early 2000's case fan.The brackets that attach each fan unit are not straight. Minor cosmetic detail that doesn't impact performance.

Ordered this to move some air around in my garage workshop. Does the job well for the price!

The media could not be loaded.  I'm pretty impressed with these fans. They do move quite a bit of air. They are a good value, as you get the three 12V DC fans, protective grills for both sides of each fan, and they arrive pre-wired, just plug the set-up into a 110V AC outlet. They are quite loud at the higher settings. The video I'm attaching will give you an idea of the sound they output, bear in mind, the camera was pretty close and they're near a wall, so they won't feel 'quite' as noisy.Being picky, the wiring could be better protected, where the red/black wires go through a slot in the fan housing. In the ad, it sounded like the feet were rubber, but they're plastic bushings and rubber pads are provided to stick on the bottom of them. Also, the C-channel that connects the 3 fans together is just 'okay.' One longer continuous rail for the top and bottom would make it look nicer and give a flat edge for mounting in different applications. I'll be using these fans to keep a bunch of deep cycle batteries cool in the summer, so neither of the issues I mentioned outweigh the function of these fans. The three fans can easily be separated and used individually by anyone with basic electrical skills. They're a solid value!

The fan is good. I put it in a window to test it out and was shocked. It moves a lot of air in whichever direction you need. The fan control is on the cord so it can be used as intake or exhaust.This is a good fan for any project.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a surprisingly powerful fan array that is adjustable down to just a slight air movement. It seems to be very well built with a solid plastic frame. At full speed it is a bit noisy but you probably would not need that much air movement, depending on the usage. It includes a few mounting materials with screws and Velcro options. I can think of many possible uses but for me I plan to use it in a homemade laminar flow hood for plant tissue culture. It is perfect for that with its adjustable speed and wide area of air flow.

As a child of the 80s, I have a rack stereo system and lately I have found that my components were getting rather hot which would lead to the amps shutting down to avoid burning out. I needed something to get the air flowing around the amplifiers and this unit does the job fantastically. The three fans all run at the same speed generating a constant and continuous flow of air keeping everything cool and temperatures down and if there is a need for more air flow the included dial controller allows me to increase the air flow. No more overheated audio equipment for me. At increased air flow/speeds the unit will get louder, accordingly.
