Poor Instructions and weird message
I get quite a lot of stuff from Amazon and rarely leave reviews.I had to contact product support at Amazon as I was getting a "So many seconds to power off - please authorize" message on power up. Also despite a new sd card I got a message that it was full.Thirdly the instruction are very poor.Amazon could not help so I am returning item.

It's better to use your eyes for astronomy
I've been holding off writing this review because I wanted to try to post some examples of what it could do, but finally decided it wasn't worth the trouble because there's not going to be much of a good example. I was hoping this might be a useful tool for some of my star parties, but wasn't overly optimistic. Sadly, I wasn't surprised. At this point I really don't want to recount the whole list of flaws I encountered, but like so many beginner astronomy products, I fear this may do more harm than good for those trying to get started in the hobby and being frustrated to learn that things don't look like they do on the box cover of that cheap telescope you bought. Same here. The pictures on the screen are obvious nonsense, but unfortunately the camera and exposure control isn't even reasonably suited for obtaining good views of anything but perhaps the moon, which is incredibly bright. I managed to get Jupiter to show up using the light gathering power of my 11" scope, but it was still only a few dozen pixels across (maybe the size of a dime) and really grainy. I wouldn't count on even that much with any beginner scope. Unfortunately this is a pretty pricey accessory that will divert you from buying something that would make your viewing better. Besides, looking at any bright screen (this or your phone) will ruin your night vision from any possibility of seeing these dim objects with your own eye(s), which is the real joy of astronomical observing!

Easy to install and use
I have been trying to take pictures directly from my telescope for a very long time. Attachments for smartphones are frustrating and difficult to align as they "look" through the eyepiece. I wanted something that replaced the eyepiece or was directly attached to the eyepiece and where I could also see what the camera was seeing. This camera replaces the eyepiece once you are centered on the target. It is simple to use. The resolution is adequate. This is not a high-priced astrophotographic tool, but for an amateur like me, this was a great investment. Now if the skies would please clear up.

Great lens to have.
The media could not be loaded. Great lens. It has some filter options built in and also it has the 1ΒΌ" neck to install any of your filters you may want to use. Comes with a remote to start and stop video or snapping pics and it has zoom and having the screen right there at the eyepiece you can look with ease and it has its on WiFi. You can download the roadcam app and control it from your phone. It's an amazing addition to any eyepiece set especially for the price.

1 hour battery not 5 hours...
The app "road cam" is garbage. The fully charged battery only lasted just under 1 hour. No manual came with it also. It works but don't expect much. Semi disappointed, might return it though.
