Digital Max Min Greenhouse Thermometer - Monitor Maximum and Minimum Temperatures for Use in the Garden Greenhouse or Home Greenhouse Accessories Used Indoor Outdoor Easily Wall Mounted

I bought two of these, one has been in use in the greenhouse all year and works fine; the other I just opened to use by the back door over the Winter period. It looked like the box had been opened and taped back up, plus the battery had been installed, clearly a faulty return resold by Amazon.I contacted the manufacturer and they were great and agreed to send me a new unit, excellent service.

My first one misted up inside the cover over the course of the winter so brought it iindoors to dry out - which it failed to do over the next month or so. Assuming it was finished I moved it to a cooler room on its way to the recycling bin. Through laziness it got left there for some time (month or more?) until when I finally got around to chucking it out I noticed all the misting had gone and the instrument was working perfectly well again but by this time I had bought a duplicate since its main use is in spring to monitor frost occurences for our veg. I now have two, a new one outside and the old one in the greenhouse where it should not mist up again. Because of all this misting up only 3 stars but a good piece of kit and so easy and quick to read. Would (and did) buy again. David

This appeared to be a perfect thermometer for the new greenhouse. Clear screen, easy to set and read. But the battery ran out today. I have replaced the battery but the display remains blank. There doesn’t appear to be a reset button so I as it stands then item is useless …. After 14 months of use.Having contacted Brannan via their website I had a reply in 12 hrs offering a replacement. However I thought I’d just check one more time and low and behold it’s come back to life.So thanks Brannon for your offer. Great service.

I HAVE ONE IN EVERY ROOM TO CHECK ON THE CENTRAL HEATING RADIATOR CONTROLS THEY DO DIFFER SLIGHTLY WHEN 2 ARE TOGETHER AND GIVE A POINT OR 2 DIFFERENT READING BUT THIS IS NOT DETRIMENTAL TO MY USE AND MAY ONLY BE THESE 2 ITEMS. APART FROM THAT THEY ARE WORKING WELL AND I AM PLEASED WITH THEM. THE REAL TEST IS IF I DID NOT HAVE THEM WOULD I BUY AGAIN AND THE ANSWER TO THAT IS A BIG YES.ONE OF THEM DID NOT TURN ON WHEN DELIVERED AND THEY REFUNDED ME THE COST, HOWEVER I WOULD HAVE PREFFERED A REPLACEMENT. JUST NIT PICKING.

Totally disappointed with this thermometer. Despite resetting it every day it did not record temperatures accurately. The current temperature setting never changed - even on the hottest day on record! I checked the readings against another Brannan mercury thermometer and saw instantly how inaccurate the digital thermometer actually was. There was no point in keeping it so I returned it. Very disappointed.

Bought this to check accuracy of my Hive system and always see what the house goes down to at night. Nice product - wish it had a button to press to illuminate the readings - sometimes a little difficult to read - but overall, it's good value.
