Raggedy.
The media could not be loaded. I bought four sets of this box set to store beads in.Most of the side latches fall right out of the holes when you click them open. They fell out right on to the counter. Some do not latch at all when you click them closed, so the stack falls apart when you try to lift it. Half the box is unusable. Also, the boxes are not interchangeable because they are not 100% the same size. I made the mistake of laying them all out (mixing up sets) to organize my contents. It took me another hour to be able to stack them again because some latches ended up too short so they didnt latch at all, or some latches were too tall so they didnt “click” shut. I learned my lesson the hard way! One “tower” must stay intanct, it can not be moved around to mix with a supposedly identical tower. Not at all!!Do not buy from this manufacturer, pick another.

There Are Few Perfect Solutions
I recently made the decision to learn about creating various jewelry items using silicone and acrylic beads. So in typical fashion (For me) I went on a bead buying spree and now I have hundreds. What I don't want to do is store the beads in bags or boxes which would result in having to look through them when I wanted to find something in particular. I also wanted a storage method that would allow quick access. So in searching Amazon I found these "towers" with multiple levels which seemed to be the ticket. I ended up getting a 7 tier setup. What I like about this system is that each tier serves as the lid for the level underneath so each level can be accessed quickly and you can see the contents of each tray without opening it.It seemed like the perfect solution. But once I had all 7 levels loaded with beads I realized that the whole thing is heavy. 12 pounds heavy. I noticed that once when I picked the whole thing up, the bottom tier was still sitting on the floor. This meant that the two latches on either side had disengaged. In examining the whole stack closely I realized that when the latch on either side was pushed into place the "lock in" was rather weak. This concerned me greatly as a latch disengaging when the whole thing is being picked up or carried could result in all the tiers below the failure to fall which would be a mess. This whole stack is rather flimsy and if it fell I'm certain there would be damage never mind beads being scattered everywhere. This is a deal breaker for me. If you are storing items that are light and don't add weight and stress the latches there may be no issues. This is just another case of an item being designed to be manufactured cheaply which means it will not be substantial and may not hold up to heavier use. I searched Amazon looking for something with the same basic design but of more robust manufacture. I only found one item, here; Bins & Things Stackable Storage Container with 2 Trays - Gray - Craft Storage/Craft Organizers and Storage - Bead Organizer Box/Art Supply Organizer. The latches holding the tiers together are much more robust and I think this setup would hold up to the storage of heavier items. But, the compartments are much larger and they are only 4 levels high. None of this is a deal breaker in my opinion.I still like the idea of having 6, 7 or 8 tiers. So it occurred to me that if I used a strap of some kind to secure the tiers this might solve the problem and make the whole package more secure. At first I thought about a Velcro strap which could be removed easily but then I though of something I happen to already have. It is a strap with a handle and a quick release buckle which is meant to make carrying boxes easier, making it so you can carry a box with one hand. This is what I have; 6' Carry Strap with Handle | Adjustable Belt | Easy, Safe, Secure, Lifting, Moving, Carrying Heavy Boxes, Groceries | Best Luggage Strap (Strap-A-Handle 6ft. Length, 40lb. Capacity)And once I tried it I found that it works like a champ. As the strap is 6 feet long there will be some extra but with some clips that come with the strap and some binder clips the excess can be managed. Or, if you wanted to dedicate a strap the multi-tier setup you could cut the excess. With the quick release buckle removing the strap to access the tiers is no problem.I'm going to need another setup as I have more beads on the way so I may try the Bins & Things item or I may get another like I already have and obtain another strap. The straps can be used for other things and then returned to the bead tower.I wanted to share my experience with this as I can see this being a problem for some who need to store heavier items and want to ensure "the stack" is secure and can be carried with confidence.UPDATE: I just placed an order for another stack, this time 8 levels. I've also gotten another strap to make the Towering Inferno of beads secure and easy to carry and open to whichever tier you wish to access. I did look at other options but none could offer the capacity of a stack, this one has 80 compartments. So if storing many items the size of beads this is about the best way to go IMO. Remember to get a strap like the one mentioned in the OP. If you need to store random supplies and tool this setup won't work so good for that. This is for loose beads, charms, and any other small items.

An adequate storage solution.
They're... fine. I keep buying more, so I guess that's a good review. The plastic is soft and easily warps, you'll find yourself having to carefully stack layers to ensure the lip of the bottom layer properly seats into the upper. Most of the inter-layer clasps are adequate, but between three orders I've had two snaps that just don't snap – you can push them in place and they'll stay there, but if you jostle things even slightly they'll release. The lid fits tightly enough to keep anything from falling out of the case, but is too high to keep small items from being mixed between compartments during heavy shaking. They're big enough to fit moderately large items but small enough that tiny items can also be stored – adjustable dividers allow for LOTS of customization. It's easy to find things since it's entirely clear and all compartments have at least one wall on the outside.

Versatile
I like the amount of compartments. The only problem I have is now that I have it almost full - will the handle hold up if I move it a lot. If only there was another lid or a different type of handle.
