Wearable
I chose this product because it is the least bulky of the smart watches, and because I prefer stainless steel to aluminium. I wanted it low key in colour, and not all black and shiny so I chose the pale gold with a grey green strap. It sits well on my wrist. It pairs easily with my Google Pixel Mobile.I know the battery life is limited, and I keep it charged through my laptop.I have only had it 36 hours because it took several days to come from Germany, so I haven't tried it with a SIM card yet. The sound level is quite low on phone calls so I prefer to use my mobile. But I know I can go out with my watch attached to my wrist, and there is distinctly less chance of losing it than my mobile.

Weird cloudy patch appeared in the middle of the screen within days of use
I ended up returning this. I found this watch quite a frustrating experience. I wanted to move from Apple to Pixel watch because I’ve changed my main phone and I) these watches aren't cross-platform compatible, II) I’ve been really disappointed by the short battery life of my Apple watch.I liked the styling and build quality of the Pixel watch. Was a bit less keen on the dial size - this is so wide I found it a bit cumbersome in use. The watch paired easily with my Pixel 8 Pro.I wasn't at all impressed by how much of this watch’s functionality is held hostage by third party (Fitbit) controls. So many functions can only be accessed by becoming a Fitbit subscriber. The thing that made me give up on this and return it within days of purchase was that the screen developed a weird cloud-like mark right in the middle. I couldn't think of anything I’d done that would have created this shape. It certainly didn't resemble my chosen watch face. There was just this weird, distracting patch occupying about 25% of the face, right in the middle, that never went away.LTE contract options are not great either (only two UK carriers, both costing around £30 per month), so I was using this as though it were a basic wi-fi model.
