Really an excellent product
I have been using this mouse for some weeks at the time of writing. I suffer from some RSI related tendon discomfort from mouse clicking with my middle and fore fingers of my left hand. I tend, with a normal mouse, to flex the whole of my finger from the 3rd knuckle (the one closed to the wrist at the base of my fingers). This mouse has completely eliminated the associated discomfort that I feel in the tendons that control the flexing from the knuckle. It does this by promoting a finger position that encourages the curling of the finger to press the buttons, rather than flexing at one joint. The curling action uses a different set of muscles and tendons and allows the resting of the other tensions and muscles that are the problem. The rest really works as I have been able to use a normal mouse for a day without problems when I have forgetton to pack the penguin. In addition it holds your hand in a neutral position that is good ergonomically. It is a wonderfully designed product and I couldn't go back to a normal mouse now.

Excellent - much better than all sloping mice
The Posturite mouse is excellent for me. I tried with two different sloping mice; these helped with the angle of my wrist, but acted as a wedge to force my thumb into an uncomfortable position which produced strain in my hand which I didn't have before. This is the only mouse I have found which has eased strains in my hand and wrist. Two smaller issues:1) I went for a mouse slightly smaller than recommended, and it's fine for me.2) I am using a slower "Push DPI" speed than I had done before (a button the bottom of the mouse controls this), to enable me to have better control over the mouse pointer for clicking on small buttons and crosses on the screen. At a slower speed, I am able to control the mouse well. I did notice issues with controlling the mouse at faster speeds initially, and I also found that if I put my little finger on the desk beside the mouse base, that gave me more control (and it would be easier if the base were a little smaller); at the slower speed, I don't need to do that. It's more expensive than other mice, but the relief it brings is well worth the price.

Love it. I took to it straight away. Update few odd things happen in Windows 10
Had problems with my hands and wrist that puzzled GP until he got a eureka moment and looked at the pattern of where my pains were and it corresponded to conventional mouse as work long days with one. Researching options I came across the penguin and love it. I took to it straight away. It is so comfortable to hold and does all the mouse functions of click, stroll etc without installing 3rd party software. My daughter likes having a go with it too. I firmly believe a campaign should be started to rid the world of mice and replace them with penguins as here about so many people who have similar problems but have done nothing about it.Update: After the last one broke I went for a cheaper verticle mouse but started getting carpal tunnel and RSI. My work got a postureite workstation assessment for me in my home office. And they recommended giving the penguin another go. So I have been using it again for around 6 months and feel better using it. However what is weird is that on Windows 10 if you keep it plugged in the P still is lit but won't work after the laptop starts up again until you unplug it. Also weird is when you go to use it it needs time to wake up again and the cursor remains still for 2 seconds before starting working.

The quirky ergonomic, just watch out for sizing
As a full time desk worker I can confidently say that this is a great concept, which after a couple of weeks of getting used to, has relieved the hand and wrist pain I was experiencing from using other mouses. If you are suffering any pain or discomfort this is worth a shot.Only warning is watch out for the sizing: I followed their hand measuring advice which brought me out at a large, however this was too big and a strain to use. Amazon's convenient returns policy soon sorted this and the next size down now works perfectly.

Very ergonomic but poor sensor/buttons
Update: mouse scroll wheel broken and Amazon kindly offered a returned. Stay away from this product!Incredibly ergonomic with no RSI pain whatsoever so top marks for that. Considering it's high price I've given it a 3/5 due to some issues:- Mushy buttons that have a spring/metallic feel and sound to them. Out of the box it felt great but has worsened over time. I'll keep track of this.- For accurate usages, such as Excel work or video editing - it isn't very good. The sensor is poor. The palm base causes it to feel sluggish, heavy and inaccurate. That's because the whole hand/forearm is moving with the mouse and adding pressure to the base; as opposed to other vertical mice where you use your wrist to move the mouse. I often have to 'lift' my hand to gain accuracy. For general usages it's fine, but depending on your workflow this can be a real issue.- I use a USB switcher between work and desktop use, and the mouse cuts out when that 'switch' happens. To solve this, I have to repress the USB hub between devices to activate it. Never had that issue with any of my devices (including other wired/wireless mouse).- Aggressive auto-off causes the mouse to 'turn off' after a few mins. This is annoying and means you must move the mouse to wake it up.Some of these issues would be acceptable if it was much cheaper. However, even for cheaper mice these issues wouldn't be satisfactory.

Brilliant
Invested in this after my carpal tunnel came back, it has made a real difference and is very easy to use!

Good investment and cute!
I work on the computer all day for my job and was getting a sore hand with my normal mouse so I looked up ergonomic mice and wanted to try an upright mouse or joystick. This was recommended online and to be honest I really wanted it because it's a penguin! I've had it almost 10 months and it's been great. I got the medium, which is fine for me - it didn't take long to get used to although I sometimes clicked the wrong button. I also bought an ergonomic keyboard which has also helped my hand pain and an enormous mouse mat so I wouldn't have to keep lifting the mouse up but it isn't really necessary. It's very expensive but if your employer can help you to buy it (mine paid for it!), I would recommend it as it's a good investment to avoid hand pain!

Precisa saber o tamanho certo da mão
São 3 tamanhos, precisa saber qual se encaixa em sua mão. Mão grande ficará ruim no small, assim como mão pequena não ficará confortável no large.

No more wrist issues
This is the 2nd one I've had. First one lasted 4 years before the wheel part went wonky. Well worth having.

just amazing
I though this mouse was a little expensive before buying it... I was very wrong, because it's exactly what I was looking for... my Carp Tunnel problem is better now (after 2 weeks using it). Thanks

Great mouse, you pay mostly for the design
Great mouse overall for someone who experiences pain when squeezing a normal mouse or one that is positioned diagonally such as the Logitech.Took a week or two to get used to. Does a good job of relieving carpel tunnel pain and is now is hard to go back to a normal mouse! It’s a bit expensive for what you get with the somewhat cheaper materials, but it has good build quality. I’d say it’s a overall a good deal, especially worth it when you don’t have any more pain.

Repeat order
I have been using the penguin mouse since 2015. Morr expensive than other ergonomic mouse but design is the best for injured wrists and arms
