eWeLink TH-16 Smart Wifi Switch 16A/3000W Monitoring Temperature Wireless Home Automation Kit with Waterproof DS18B20 Temperature Sensor Compatible With Alexa Google Home/Nest

I successfully replaced my Softub mainboard with this device. So far, about 2 months in, it's working awesome. I can ask alexa what the hot tub temperature is, I can schedule it to power off when the cost of electricity is higher (time of day pricing in my location), and best of all I can set it to any temperature I want - no more 104 limit!

I have the temperature set to stay at 76F, with a heat mat plugged into it in a cricket container. We have peak usage, so I also have the timer set to keep it off from 6-9am. Both work well and work together. Keeping the box within a degree from 9am to 6am, stays off for the three hours. I did have to use the AP connection to set up on eWeLink. Hold the button five or six seconds until it blinks fast, might have to do it two or three times (there is a slow blink mode and a three blink mode I never figured out, but the long press cycles between all three) WiFi password was 12345678.

It's compatible with ewelink but got disconnected almost everyday. I have 4 original TH-16 from sonoff for years now and they are reliable. Since sonoff raised their price , I tried other brand. I guess the RF receiver part of this unit is not as sensitive as the original Sonoff

This product lasted 3 days and then started to give false readings. The supplier was informed but to this date, More than one week. They have not responded. Very poor customer service and bad product

First off, I have eWeLink App, so I didn't want another App outside of what I was already using.I am switch from Ziggbee/SmartThings because Ziggbee requires a reset off the device to change hubs.Great at first, but Alexa/Google don't require a reset when a hub dies.This was easy to setup and the sensor works fine with eWeLink and Alexa.I also have the SonOff TH16 sensor. The connector for the outdoor sensor unit is not interchangable.Just FYI.Good value for a cheap temperature sensor. I have placed this outside on the house, out of major weather.
