This blotting paper is good, not quite what I was looking for but it will certainly work for now.It's affordable and there's plenty in a pack. I needed a sheet to keep with my ink sketching, so half a sheet tucked in my sketchbooks is perfect. It seems to be as absorbent as I need.It's quite thick, so cutting rather than folding works better.I'm also planning to redo my flower press with it.

This came in a giant box. A2 size blotting paper was on special offer so I got equivalent to 40 sheets of A4 or 80 sheets of A5 for the same money. It is way thicker than the tiny A5 Clairefontaine blottingpaper I ordered before, so thick that even a big blot of India ink barely shows on the other side. I use a lot of dip pen inks so blotting paper is important to me . At 300 GSM this is the thickest blotting paper I have ever come across. I will definitely be buying it again.

I bought this product because I wanted to paint on it using ink and needed the absorption to be rapid for artistic purposes. I am sure it is also a very good blotter for calligraphy etc.

This was way too thick for just blotting ink, but great quality. Better for mopping up spills!
