This is ok a nuisance having to put on a place mat as does not work on carpet and the bright glow is annoying

Works very well at heating, even on one bar and there is the ability to replace with a new element when the present one burns out - a recurring problem with these heaters. There is no perceptible warping or burning of the reflectors - another generic problem. It still looks good after many months of fairly intensive use. I'm very pleased with it, unlike many of this kind I've had in the past.I don't know what 'sheerness' is but that's probably good as well.P.S. One year later it's still working fine and still looks just as good. It has had a lot of use. I'm very pleased with it.

Early days but seems fine at the moment , no problems at all , nice and warm . Last one I had ( not this model ) only lasted a week before the bulbs broke , hopefully this will last longer .well it's been a couple of weeks and the tubes have blown already , not really that happy now , didn't expect them to go so soon .

- It consumes just 400w per bar. I use it by my desk to keep my feet warm. If I use 3 bar, it can keep my room warm.- Use it for more than a month, still working and did not loss any bar yet.- It has bright light and at bedroom you might do not like it very much.It is light (not sure this is a problem) but it is safe.- Price is reasonable, I saw same product on a chain shop with almost same price.- No noise at all

Super little heater, although I was disappointed and surprised when one of the tubes stopped working after only about three or four weeks. Good job I bought two of these heaters.

Both heaters oscillating function failed after @ 6 weeks, now after 4 months the power switch has failed on one of them. I disassembled the unit and thought I would use oscillating switch to replace power switch ( both exactly same). Some of the connections were so tight, the spade terminal broke just attempting to remove connecting wire. As this meant unit was now useless I thought I'd save halogen tubes as spares, again connections were too tight, I'm not holding much hope when I have a tube blow.

this really generates heat. My underfloor heating is on in the morning and evening only as i cant change it . This heater is brilliant. It can warm the room up with just two of the bars. I really recommend it. And it will automatically turn off if picked up or knocked over so a great safety feature
