I started keeping bees at 9-years of age...58 years ago. In my lifetime of beekeeping, I've seen poor, mediocre, and excellent plastic, beeswax-coated foundation. Mann-Lake foundation certainly falls into the excellent category. It's strong, smells like pure beeswax, and is bow-resistant. It hangs straight in the frames so that combs are easy to manipulate with minimal damage to the combs and more importantly the bees themselves. This is serious foundation at competitive prices. Ordering was quick and delivery very fast. Great product Mann-Lake!

great product, have used these for several years. I was a wax only guy for a long time but getting those wax sheets to hang just right and not create 'crazy comb' was just too much. These are so easy to harvest from, just use a decently strong spatula to scrape all the wax and honey into a bowel and crush it, no need for decapping since the spatula does that for you during the removal. They have little perforated corner bend outs too so that if you like tight hive bodies like I do you can bend out the little corners to facilitate bee travel in the hive.Love mann lake products, but when you live on an island the shipping is re-damn-diculous and finding their products on Amazon with free shipping has saved me a ton of money. The price is the same or sometimes even LOWER on Amazon than direct from Mann Lake too!

I made the mistake of buying some cheap frames made in China with foundation coated in some strange wax, not bees wax. My bees did not want to draw comb out on the cheap stuff. When I switched back to this product, with foundation coated in real bees wax, my bees were happy. You really do get what you pay for in life.

I'm happy with the product and like that the foundations have the perforated corners. It also seems like the cells are a little deeper than others we've gotten, which I'm pleased with. I was a bit disappointed to only receive 97 foundations though, when 100 were promised.

I bought this whole box because I figured it would keep me busy (or my bees, rather) for a while. I hoped they would like it as I have heard some beekeepers are unable to get their bees to like certain foundations or even some bees who will build wierd comb on some foundations. Unfortunately (fortunately, as it turns out) I bought deep foundations when I have all mediums. So I measured it and cut it with a table saw to fit medium frames. When you open the box it smells like beeswax and especially so when you are cutting it. I had quite a few curious bees coming over to check it out while I was cutting it! So cute. I kept the extra bit and used it as a starter strip in frames (just attaching it using wood glue and drying it out for a few weeks before putting it in a hive) and they build comb all the way to the bottom using it as a starting place. So you could use the freestyle part for comb honey. My bees adore this foundation. They build beautiful comb on it really fast which comes in handy during nectar flows and I got twice the value since I cut it.

Item arrived on time, good quality, one thing is when received the item box were rip off, need improvement on packaging ,overall, will still give 5 stars .
