Kaytee Cedar Seed and Suet Feeder

This was purchased to replace a larger one that bit the dust when a large limb smashed it up beyond repair. We have another one similar to this one and it has held up well over the years. This one developed a crack in the base but it was exposed to direct sunlight nearly all day for a couple months so it wasn't totally unexpected. The seeds wont drop through so I am still giving it a 5 star.

This bird feeder looks really nice and is solid. I like that the openings where the food flows out are big enough to keep it flowing. The one I had before had tiny openings, and after it rained, the seed would get wet and heavy and nothing could flow. I had to keep clearing the holes.

I ordered one of these and it came missing a side piece (the clear plastic thing that holds the seeds in). I sent it back and ordered another and had the same issue. I really liked feeder, so I contacted the company and they immediately made it right (they sent a replacement side piece). Other than that, no issues. I really like that it has 2 suet holders. My birdies love it and it seems sturdy.

Bought for my daughters birthday. She loved it and was happy it was made of resin material. She's enjoying it. I'm going to be a repeat customer.

Love this! I coated it with some melted beeswax mixed with some orange oil right after I received it to give the cedar some extra protection from the weather. This is nicely built and absolutely worth every penny I paid. Looks great hanging outside and the roof keeps the seed from getting moldy. It’s also easy to slide the plastic panels out for cleaning and disinfecting.

It was a Christmas gift.. when they opened it there was a piece of the side made of plexiglass .. there was supposed to be one on each side.. there was only one. very disappointed !

Nice feeder. I have issues with squirels. Put a slinky down the pole and that seems to slow them down. Don't mount it close to something they can jump off of and onto the feeder.

Hanger broke only three months. Do not recommend.
