Nice medium sized heater, good output 18 hours
The media could not be loaded. Okay the good stuff this is a nice size heater it was a little bigger than I thought I thought it'd be like a little campfire type size heater but it comes in a nice case that's padded it has carrying straps, I guess it stands about 20 in tall and maybe about 14 inches across. I think it took about a gallon and a half to fill it 3/4 of the way full of fuel there's a gauge on there it's kind of small but also so is the opening to fill it you will need a smaller size funnel there's a tiny one they give you with it and you could use it but I think it'd be tricky the long one I had for a transmission type feel funnel seem like it fit in there you can see the size of my finger in the hole for the fill. Once you fill it the instructions say to wait 10 to 15 minutes before you light it to allow the wick to soak up the fuel I did take a look at my WIC it was in there just a tiny bit crooked but there are four Wing nuts that you can take off and easily move the wick up and down left and right to get it nice and even which is needed for great burn.Once it's sat for 15 minutes to light it it's very easy you lift on the top Dome (spring ext. Thing in video) just a smidge maybe a quarter inch and get a lighter in there and you will see the flame start to work its way around the wick quickly put the Dome back down on the top otherwise it generates smoke during that time and it will take about 2 to 3 minutes for the flame to propagate all the way around and get to a decent height for burning. Once you see the flame go all the way around and get a little high you'll have to start turning it down so it won't smoke and you will have to do that for the next 2 to 3 minutes as it warms itself up otherwise if you walk away you'll come back and you'll notice a little bit of smell so you have to be attentive in the first 5 minutes to get it to work correctly and then it will burn fine for our good long 7-8 hours. As it warms up it continues to generate more upward draft and pull on the oil in the tank and that's why you need to keep turning down the burner from Max to a slower level and lower level a little at a time, and what you want is just as in the picture a nice cherry red glow on the top with really no flame visible and then it will burn with almost no smell. Look close at last pic. Cherry red very slight blue flame all around base of Dome- thus gets you max heat no smell and about a good 17 + hours of heat. Will heat a 12' x 12' foot unheated room warm and toasty.Almost all the heat goes straight up through the top there is a flat cover that's easily removed from the top even with the carrying handle mounted and on the top you could put a pan of something you wanted to warm or a teapot there is a small indent in the top to keep something in there nice and flat it's probably about 6 in across the flat portion where it has a little recess maybe less than a quarter inch on the top for heating something looks convenient. Top is about 12" wide.As it's running even after an hour it's still able to be touched on the sides not on the top but it does not get hot the whole case it just gets slightly warm to the touch so on the top hot sides warm bottom warm it doesn't get scalding.I would say full of fuel it probably weighs about 14 to 15 pounds so you could still move it I'm not sure you'd want to move it with the carrying handle while it's burning because the carrying handle is going to go straight up and that's where all the heat is coming out so once you find a good level spot to put it there it is in order to existinguish the flame you slowly turn down the knob don't do it all at once otherwise it'll generate a little smoke so slowly turn it down over a period of 30 seconds and the wick will burn itself out and it will self extinguish.Takes only about three or four minutes to cool off so you could then move it.I'm very happy with it after just one day of use I used to have a different heater a bigger kind and that thing got hot you couldn't put it next to anything I think you could put this next to something maybe 8 or 10 inches away on the sides and you'd be fine but keep in mind if you're going to be in the same room you can attend to it and check it, so with the foot of clearance on the sides I think you'd be safe I had it next to a cabinet and it only got slightly warm and then I put a sheet of tin up along side to make sure that it didn't get beyond that next to the cabinet to reflect the heat back out to the room.I'd buy a second one of these if I needed it but I left it going for a good 8+ hours we used about 1/2 of the tank kept the room real nice and warm at 70° f and it was probably a 12'x12-ft room not heated. No fans here and a fan would defeat the purpose because it would blow on the flame and maybe make additional soot it has to sit and just roast very slowly to get that clean burn and that's why you have to just be there for the first 5 minutes and turn it down and down and down and finally to the point where it's cherry red and then you can walk away.Hope this helps the pictures in the video I think it's a nice emergency heat Source but I'm using as a supplement in my shop like I said I'm using this indoors and I did and there was only a tiny bit of smell when I first lit it but as I walked away the flame crept up and crept up as the cabinet of the heater warmed up and Drew more oil so as long as you can be attentive I think this thing is a great Buy, I believe this is sold through Amazon itself so the delivery was fairly quick I think it only took a week to arrive these other ones from overseas I was promised one twice and it took a month never showed up another one two months never showed up so this one is available and sold by Amazon services one week delivery time well worth the wait looks solid could use it for years to come and the lighly padded carrying bag is nice. They give you a super small funel and even a set of medium sized vinyl Coated gloves in box so you won't smell after a refueling.Buy it !

Uses only .25 l of kerosene per hour and heats a room while serving you tea!
I bought this smaller kerosene heater because the standard kerosene heater most of us have seen put out too much heat for my needs and used more about 8 l or 2 gals of pricey kerosene for day. This more appropriately sized and cleverly designed heater uses a parsimonious .2 - .25 l per hour or less, giving me more than about 18-20 hours of silent heat with one tankful of about a gallon. It comes with a nice carrying bag, an extra wick, fuel transfer funnel and pump, plus gloves. Some of the ideal scenarios for this handy unit are for camping, for smaller rooms, emergency scenarios, and for cooking while heating.I am so impressed with this right sized and well conceived heater, I am buying another one.Get it to save the money on kerosene and enjoy your tea!

Poorly made, leaked kerosene, returned...
I felt this heater was poorly made, it reminded me of Chinese products circa 1990's. There is a seam on the underside of the tank that is caulked and mine leaked, which resulted in a bunch of kerosene on my floor, which was great. All the components of it seemed very cheap to me and poorly machined. I even leveled the wick perfectly and went through all the fasteners to make sure everything was tight before I put fuel in it. If the wick is a little too low or a little too high it will smoke, it's tricky to get it just right. The heat is not variable. If this product was half the price I still feel like it would be overpriced. I returned it and purchased a 15,000-25,000 BTU Dyna Glow LP propane pot heater for $70. It's variable and burns clean, and it is also quite quiet on low. If you really want a kerosene heater I would recommend a brand name one like Dyna-Glo or Mr Heater...

It's huge
First and foremost, they sent me the wrong color. I picked aquamarine and they just sent black. This does not have any bearing on the product itself, just a mild annoyance. What's important is the heater is huge and takes up lots of space. If you're in a big room it's no big deal, you can set it and (don't) forget it, but I bought this for my small RV and it takes up much needed real estate. It comes with a foam pad wedged inside the outer mesh grating so you have to loosen the legs and take the top plate off to get it out. The funnel they include with the heater is a little small so I'd definitely get a bigger one from a hardware or automotive store if you can. The filler gauge is small but easy to read and it works so just keep an eye on it while you're filling it up and you should be good. The wick is uneven right off the bat so make sure you trim it or it'll burn unevenly. The heat that comes out of the top is tremendous, and the radiant heat that comes from the sides is noticeable and will keep you warm. The outer mesh grating does get warm, but not enough to burn anything down. Once it's turned off, the heat dissipates fairly quickly so give it a few minutes and you should be able to move it again. This is the only time I smelled any odor as well, so that's great. It's portable but uncomfortable to carry as the handle is metal and the coil slides around, and the heater itself is mostly edges. It comes with a bag so that makes it easier but it's still ginormous.

very useful
In this cold weather, in the face of a sudden power outrage, the kerosene heater became the savior of emergency backup heating in my house when the power went out. Its portability allows us to easily move it from room to room, ensuring warmth in every corner. Whether it's in the living room or bedroom, as long as it is there, it can quickly raise the room temperature and bring a comfortable and warm experience. I am very satisfied and highly recommend it to families who need a reliable heat source in case of emergency.
