[Update 24 Nobember 2024. After 9 months, the display has gone completely dark. My original review was 5-star, but now is 1-star due to poor reliability. No support options available from the manufacturer. Now I have to bust out a new tile wall to replace this failed device. Leaving the old review comments so you can see my whole experience: ........]This is a great value. Very competitive price for a well made thermostatic valve with digital display. Unit is self-powered using water flow to generate the tiny amount of electricity used by the display. No batteries or wiring required. Installation directions were not a good translation to english, but it wasn't too hard to figure out. I installed stubs about 6 to 8 inches length with 1/2" threaded fittings on each port so I would not have to use the torch too close to the valve (see photos). I am old school and there is nothing else like copper plumbing with soldered fittings. This shower valve gives champagne taste on a beer budget ;-) Only have had it installed for a couple of days. If anything goes wrong I will update the review. Otherwise, no news is good news. I did have to trim the plastic posts on the pushbutton valve controls about 1/8" inch shorter than the installation instructions, so keep in mind you might have to trim these a little to get good valve operation before you seal the face plate. They did provide an extra set of the posts in case you trim too much. Bonus points for providing this extra hardware just in case.

Overall a nice product, looks great, but after 6 months the buttons stopped working and would not turn on the shower

I was having issues with temperature changes. I had to post a review publicly because Amazon wouldn't let me privately message the company. I had at one point an issue with being unable to change the temperature but the company sent me some replacement parts and even showed me how to do the replacement to avoid plumber costs. I have recommened this product to some friends who purchased and love it. Highly recommend!
