I have been fitting shelving all around my hobby room about 400mm below the ceiling.This is to store the numerous plastic tubs of bits and pieces that i can't throw out incase they come in handy one day (i've had some of the tubs contents for over 20 years, but i know if i throw anything out, i'll need that item a week later :)When i came to fit shelving above the patio doors, i needed a pair of heavy duty shelving brackets that i wanted to mount upside down to hang the shelving from... as i can't fit normal under shelf brackets due to there being no wall below the shelving due to the doors.It seems that every shelving bracket is listed as 'heavy duty' nowadays, even if they are a 0.5mm piece of steel strip bent in an L shape that bends under its own weight!So it was nice to find that there are true heavy duty brackets out there if you look hard enough, of course they cost more than the thousands of mis labeled ultra light duty brackets, but you need to pay for that extra steel and welding that makes up real heavy duty brackets.These brackets comprise of about 3mm steel for the flat L part of the bracket, with 2 pieces of box section steel welded between the flat parts of the bracket to make 2 triangles.Anyone who knows a little about engineering will know that triangles are used where you need strength.Usually you'd mount these brackets below the shelving, but as mentioned above, i needed to mount them above the shelving to hang it from the wall above a door opening.The 5 wall mounting holes per bracket ensure that it should stay attached to the wall, and as the shelving here was to hang from the bracket, i used 5 x M4 nuts, bolts and washers to fix the shelving to each bracket,i did need to drill the holes in the brackets out slightly for the bolts to pass through, but if using normal screws there is no need to do this.Once the shelving was attached to these brackets i tested them by doing pull ups on the shelving between these 2 brackets, and everything was solid and stable (i weigh around 120 kilo's)I'd highly recommend these brackets to anyone who needs true heavy duty brackets to hold expensive and heavy items up, the cost of these brackets is nothing compared to buying cheaper ones that buckle and drop your possessions onto the floor.

My current setup has two 27" monitors, a small NAS server, an audio amplifier and most importantly, a full size gaming PC. These brackets handle the weight amazingly with no flexing or wobble. The visual quality of the brackets is also great.

I appreciate that these are probably more expensive than other kinds of shelf supports that you can get on Amazon but for me these are by far the best finish and the strongest ones that I have had to review.They do come with fittings but I used my own as this does depended on your application.I have previously used some heavy duty shelving for my kitchen worktop and have replaced it with these as it will be used to support kitchen equipment as well.Good product.

Brackets seem excellent quality and very durable but the screws are not durable enough for purpose and the screwheads practically disintegrated
