Yum
In my very long life I never thought I would eat sardines, let alone love them. These are now on subscribe and save, so that I don't run out. When a quick, delicious snack is needed, this is a go to. Their employees go to the fish market early in the AM and buy the best fish. Everyone else gets the seconds. Their olive oil is so delicious, they sell it in bottles. Go ahead. Give them a try.

Outstanding taste and texture
(Nuri olive oil sardines 4.4oz) Excellent taste & texture. 4 larger (about 4" long) sardines with an excellent texture and a slight taste like salmon (which works well together). I've eaten sardines for about 25 years at 2 tins a week, but only normal sardines available at regular grocery stores in usa. These are considerable above normal sardines and glad i tried them and highly recommend these if you have never had Nuri. Expensive indeed. the olive oil is less and noticeably lesser since its not evoo, but each sardine is really outstanding.

A Fish By Any Other Name . . .
I have been buying another brand of tuna and sardines that is not found in stores that is fins and tails above the many brands I have tried. I must admit that Nuri is equal to or possibly a little better. I saw a video of this family owned operation that still performs every step of the canning process by hand and was very impressed. Glad to support this family operation. Such a mild flavored product!

Fantastic sardines
I bought these for my sardine loving girlfriend after seeing Matt Carlson review them on his Canned Fish Files YouTube channel. He’s absolutely right about these- they’re one of the best canned sardines available.

CERTAINLY GOOD, NOT GREAT!
Watched a YouTube video on the processing of these sardines in the factory in Portugal and decided to give them a try. The video was embedded in a Google review of “the 10 best canned sardines”, with the NURI brand touted as the best. I will certainly admit their flavor is greater than the brands I usually find on local grocery shelves; however, I have eaten another, lesser exalted in the Google review, brand that is just as good, if not better, and nowhere near as pricey! Also, the NURI ones in plain olive oil are, to me, far better than the “spicy” ones, and I love spicy! These are good, but for me, nowhere near worth the price!
