Honestly...I can't quite believe how good this lip stain actually is. I took the accompanying photograph on my first application attempt, & i think I did ok. I bought the lip stain in the shade "Darling," which is a pretty deep rose shade. Flattering on older skin & colouring. (I'm 63.) The application is fairly easy. Firstly, dry your lips with a tissue, apply the stain across the lips, paying attention to the edges. Once happy with the placement of the stain, allow it to dry for 1-2 minutes. Then, use a damp cloth to remove the blue surface. I used a piece of kitchen roll with mineral water sprayed onto it. It proved to be effective. It doesn't take hard scrubbing to remove the blue from the lips..just gently wipe. I was very happy with the outcome, ease of application, colour & the fact it didn't transfer onto cups, glasses...nor my husband! It's going to be lovely wearing this stain, over the summer especially. No more melting lipstick on the hot, humid days. I'm off to Las Vegas for a wedding in September, so the stain will be seriously tested. So far though, I LOVE it.

Nice colour; easy to use, does leave a slight tingle on lips, buildable colour by leaving it on the lips for 1-2 mins. Does not last very long if eating and drinking, otherwise lasts a few hours. Overall I like the product but this probably isn't for you if you want a long staying lip colour.

This worked incredibly well! This is a swatch I popped on my hand and only left for 20 seconds so the colour is definitely there. You are meant to leave it for 60 seconds so I would imagine that if I were to leave it on longer the pigment would be even stronger. I was sceptical at first after hearing there was minimal pigment but it is a lovely pinky nude colour with a slight brown undertone, perfect for everyday. I applied this about 8 hours ago and although it’s faded ever so slightly the colour is still there. Overall so so happy with this purchase and I will definitely be buying more shades!

Easy to apply, does last a good few hours. Disappointed with the colour though as has more of a purple tinge rather than brown

No smudging, no constant reapplying. It'll be great for holidays.Honestly, it’s worth every ££. Believe the hype, this one's a total game changer.

I love this product. It's easy to apply and really does stay on for several hours (although not all day long).The colour is fantastic and layers up. I apply it once for daytime, and twice for a deeper colour evening look - the extra layer for colour variation with a lip gloss on top is so glamorous I feel amazing.I always struggled with traditional lipstick, because my lips would dry out and become chapped, this is not like that at all, it's next gen lip colour and care. I couldn't be happier.

I was incredibly excited to try this product. I had seen all the content on social media and have to admit I was genuinely wowed by the colour changing application etc. I knew the price point was high but having been promised long lasting, I had high hopes.I find it hard to keep lipstick on unless it’s matte or stain and was hoping that this product was the solution.Unfortunately once I had the satisfaction of watching the blue solution wipe off into a gorgeous berry colour, I realised that this product wasn’t all I had hoped. Patchy adhesion to my lips meant that they immediately looked uneven. I read up again and followed the steps, exfoliating, blotting and prepping my lips. Repeated the process, still no joy: tried applying it over a base coat of stain and it just wouldn’t stay. It’s bitterly disappointing as the colours are gorgeous but there’s no point paying nearly £20 for a product that doesn’t work. Such a shame.

I bought the shade 'adore'. The colour is nice. A bit more subtle. The product is expensive for what it is. I can't imagine the tube lasting so long because you have to put it on quite thick to get a good colour. It doesnt last the whole day. Maybe 5 or 6 hours, less if you are eating. At first my lips are soft after I apply it but they dry out over the few hour.** Top tip if you buy the kit : when using the spray to remove the product, spray it directly on to the cloth and not your lips. You will use far less spray that way. Two sprays on the cloth is enough.
