Dental office.
I have been using it for over a year and haven’t had any issues with it. User friendly and great quality. I decided to get another one. This second one was foggy and blurry. I contacted customer service and Ron was very prompt in helping me troubleshoot and sent me a new one right away. Thank you! Very helpful!

Don't waste your money!
I purchased two of the these for my dental practice because the seller claimed that they were plug and play compatible with my Dexis imaging software. This was not the case and I could not get them to work, even with a twain driver. After countless hours on the phone with Dexis support, and even allowing ProDent techs into my system to try to resolve the problem, I was never able to use the cameras to take still intra-oral images. The ProDent "customer service" convinced me to 'give it more time' to see if we could resolve the issues, only tell me that I was now beyond the time frame where I could return them for a refund. So basically I will be throwing these cameras in the trash. Please don't make the same mistake that I did by buying such a worthless product from such horrible customer support. Buyer beware!!!

Fair value camera, longevity is a problem
I bought this camera since 11/2017. Here are some pros and consPros: 1. 3 button features - make capturing easily in any angle 2. light weight 3. USB portable, you can use in as many computers as you want. That was my version, but the new version, you may be limited to just 1 computer 4. autofocus 5. reasonable price for camera of this specification, high resolution 1600x1200.Cons: No durability - I had to replace the cable at least 3 times, the connector easily breaks, no matter how gentle you use it. The lens cap fell out too. the best resolution you can get is 640x480, even though it's capable of going up to 1600x1200, at least that's what they say. Technical support tried to trouble shoot, but they can't do it. Even with Window 10 Camera app, it couldn't do any better then 640x480. I tried with multiple different window 10 computers, the result is the same, can't get 640x480. Their technical support said they get full resolution of 1600x1200 on their computer, I doubt it. In the end, the camera itself is dead even with new cable.I think all of these china made products are intentionally made to last short time, so that you'll have to buy ones. You get what you paid for, short term satisfaction.

Very Happy!!
We ordered this camera for our dental practice and are in love! The picture image is fantastic and the instillation went great, they even followed up with a phone call to make sure things were still working correctly! We have Dentrix and use VixWin software. I would absolutely recommend!

I did get it working with ClioSoft but...
Okay, so I'm thinking about return/exchange for their cheaper PD740 version instead, because I see only slight image quality difference between this camera's low res and high res photos, although there is some difference (it is not dramatic because of the noise). Basically your higher-res photo gives you a slightly wider view of the area. It does auto focus quickly and well. This cam is good for taking pic of one tooth. You definitely cannot take face profile pics with these (extremely grainy). Even the occlusal photos are not good enough for 8-view ortho photographs, so you still need your dSLR for those shots.I'm using ClioSoft auto-bridged with OpenDental. I did get its TWAIN driver working with ClioSoft, but it is tricky to get it working all the time. It will minimize the active windows somehow while taking photos, so you occasionally have to find the screens again with your mouse. Sometimes, the camera preview screen will go blank (black); you have to change the resolution around to get the screen back again when that happens. This may just be a problem with ClioSoft, but these problems don't occur when I take intraoral x-rays.The design I think looks quite nice, but when you hold this device, it feels very light + cheap and build quality feels poor also (item photo looks a lot better than the actual item). You can tell they used the cheapest possible plastic for this camera. I don't think this item is water-proof as they advertise on their site; the seams don't look very tight. For the price, it's still not a bad alternative to $3300 Claris or similar cams.I called support, and they disconnected me after putting me on hold for 2 minutes. I called them again 30 min later; same thing. :(

Plastic looks like a fake replica , stopped working after a month
I really do not think this is a genuine product of Prodent, i this it is a fake replica because the plastic quality is just a disgrace compared to the high price and the brand name.
