Very sharp
The media could not be loaded. First off, these cutting wheels are really sharp enough to cut metal and then I can cut through PVC piping without any issues. I had to add metal posts for my fence to reinforce it and while the poles I had were a bit long, this cutter cut through those poles like nothing, I was able to get clean cuts too! Once done, I noticed that with the 1 wheel installed, I was still able to cut through metal and then PVC pipes all with that same wheel. Extremely durable and a lot more durable than I thought it was going to be. The speed of cutting through depends on the type of material. I found that when cutting through PVC and sheet metal, it didn't take no time whereas the metal pipe too a big longer. However, the size and weight of this cutter made it so much easier to hold steady. I do like that this already came with cutting wheels and an allen wrench so that I can change them when needed too. I especially like the guard on this as it not only prevents metal from popping back at my face but will definitely protect me if any of these cutting wheels break. Functions and cuts just as it should and works way better than I thought. For what I paid and everything that I've used this cutter for, this was not only a great value but the fact that its still working after using almost daily for a month, definitely surprised me!

Great Tool at an Inexpensive cost
I’m in the process of taking down an old chain link fence. I needed a tool that would not break the bank, but still get the job done to cut the metal ties holding the fence together. I even used it on a few small limbs and branches to cut down! This product certainly did the job. After only working for 15-20 minutes I accomplished a lot more than I thought I would. The cutting speed is great and the additional grinders will come in handy in the future. While the product is a little heavy, it is not unbearable and probably more light weight than a battery powered one. Definitely worth purchasing!

Easy follow instruction
It worked really well! The instructions could be better, but if you’re handy, it’s easy to put together. It comes with 3 grinding wheels, 3 grinding disks, and 2 copper bushings for future use. I’m really pleased with this purchase and would recommend it. The rebar in the picture shows the results after grinding. It cuts through steel frames nicely with other blades—just make sure to keep the guard tight because the tool moves a lot with the fast-spinning blade. I bought it for a small garage project, and it exceeded my expectations. I don’t think I need a more expensive version. It’s solidly built, feels durable and safe, and should hold up through many future projects. I mainly use it for wood, and its compact size makes it easy to handle and get into tight spots that a larger circular saw can’t reach.

Cuts like a champ
Great tool. Easy to use; not too heavy; not very expensive.BUT... the safety guard will not tighten down and stay in one place.EDIT: I was able to replace the nut that holds the safety guard in place. Didn't think it would work because it looked like the problem was the threads on the shaft of safety guard. They looked worn down to me. But the replacement nut worked, and it tightens down properly. I'm upgrading my review from 2 stars to 4. I gave it two because I think the guard should be used. I upgraded to four because I figure anybody who needs this tool probably has access to a variety of nuts in their shop or at their local hardware store. I would have given it five stars if I didn't have this problem.

Poor design and quality, returned and bought another brand
I bought it cut a square in the middle of a piece of metal. The cutting wheel wouldn't fit in correctly and will be moving forward and backward making your cuts not straight. I decided to try a second cutting wheel and the same thing happened. I watched the video before installing the first one just to make sure I was doing it correctly, which I was. Three hours after getting it I decided to returned it and went to Harborfreight and bought the bauer Cut-Off Tool, it was cost me 15 dollars more since bauer was cordless and since I already had bauer battery I only needed the cutting wheel which was another 6 dollars. So for a total of 25 dollars extra I got a very good one and did a perfect job.

The tool is ok
Odd little tool. Unlike a pneumatic model, the tool is as wide as the blade, which really limits its uses. The grinder is much more useful, but this can get in some places a grinder can't. Also the locking nut has a divot on one side. That goes towards the blade. I noticed one review saying he couldn't get the blade to tighten correctly. I had this issue as well thinking the divot went upwards because it was packaged that way, but realized right away that the blade was not secured properly. The blades are fine, and most thin cut off blades are very fragile to bending and breakage so they must be stored properly when not used.
