I’ve bought K&N filters for all my cars for almost 20 years and they work well. Never tried the full induction kits but these are very easy to install and does slightly improve performance. It’s also nice that they’re washable so they never needs to be replaced and easy to clean also.

Can not tell a difference in performance, hopefully it last as advertised and is reusable other wise not worth the money.

Didn't notice one bit of different in power gain. It's better than stock because they last forever kindA

I have their CAI in my truck and just got another truck but wanted to keep it stock so I went this drop in filter. It has a strange fit as the flange of the filter does not sit inside the airbox like an OEM filter. It creates an additional layer but it is not air tight. You can see a small gap which may or may not impact the MAF sensor. I cleaned the MAF before installing this filter and had to clean it again 1,000 miles later after a roadtrip. MPG went to down to you know where and bottom end response was worse than before this filter. I reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes at a time on three occasions but there was no improvement at all.I like their CAI CARB legal system, but this one just was not a good buy. Of course I lagged and missed the return deadline so this is getting tossed in the garage for storage (I don't why I would use it again) or the trash bin (although that would not be eco-friendly).

I have the all black, no white roof 2007 Toyota TRD FJ Cruiser. It came with the TRD cold air washable air filter. I use my FJ for what it was built for, Hunting and Fishing in remote rough places. I clean the air filter every time I change oil about every 3,000 miles. That's more often than recommended but it's easy and you are already under the hood. My stock one is 11 yrs old and had a couple of Nick's so I ordered this one. I figure there is no risk with Amazon. Well, this one looks and fits like the stock one. It had plenty of oil on it so I didn't add any. I put it up to my big shop fan with one hand behind it. I could feel the air but no excess oil so in it went. Just looking at it there is no way it won't work. Good for another 11 yrs. Best 4x4 I have ever had and at 73, that's a lot. I did have to replace the dome light though. Lol
