I bought these more than once. I absolutely love them for rock painting. They are super smooth and good size.

My best friend had just passed and she loved painting rocks and wanted to do something in her memory and once I started I see why she loved it. So here's to a new project. When the rocks came where dusty which is to be expected, but to be honest I enjoyed rinsing them of to see there natural color. Price was right for these as well and will be ordering in the future.

I’ve been painting rocks for years, and I wish that I had found these sooner. These are so smooth and clean that I barely have to wash them before painting. I love how flat they are. And I received a nice variety of sizes. I’ve purchased plenty of rocks in the past, and have found sellers who offer more rocks at the same price point as these, but I don’t mind paying slightly more for great quality. I hope to purchase these again and again in the future. Very satisfied.

The stones are nice but too expensive for my outdoor use — i needed too many, but they haven’t been stolen yet at least!

Love the rocks for Grandchildren to paint. They had a lot of fun decorating them with paint and placing outside.

I specifically wanted flutter rocks that are typically used for painting for a rock mosaic. Many of these rocks were not within the parameter sizes that are listed and clearly they’re the wrong color. I was a little miffed because I did spend extra money purchasing These particular rocks, and do not believe I got what I paid for. Unfortunately, taking them out, laying them out and then wedding them to see their true color is the only way to actually know. So I would say save your money and go to the big box store in this particular case

These are rocks…but not your unspeakably ordinary rocks—these rocks are for painting! Or skipping across a calm lake or medium-sized (calm) pond I suppose (mostly because these rocks are flat) (you’d still need some rock-skipping skills) so this review is about how well they hold paint—I cannot review how well they skip—because I am not sure of your skills as a rock skipper. That skill needs to start in your preteen years and they may/may not skip well if you aren’t using the sidearm throw method because you had a crummy childhood. But they hold paint very well!

Purchased rocks for a project that needed to be a minimum size. The sizing said 2.33" - 3.72". So far 12+ of them are not even 2" in size. EXTREMELY disappointed as now I don't have time to order more and the project will not work out well with the small size. Can't really return because some of the rocks are ok size and it will help us start the project and i need them in 2 days. BEWARE if you need a size bigger than 2", the majority of these are not!
