Just the right size and colour, white radios are not so easy to find. You can dimmer the display at night or even turn it off if you wish , turning it on again you just press the dimmer bar. I also like that the time is always displayed even when the radio is on, my last radio did not have this. Easy to programme and the alarm can be the radio gradually coming on or an alarm sound. Also digital radio not analogue. Fits my brief perfectly, thank you.

I bought this radio based on the other reviews I read because I needed to replace my old clock radio that had died. Yes, it is a bit fiddly to set up, but once you understand how the buttons work, it is really quite easy. There are a lot of steps to go through each time you need to change the alarm setting and you can't see at a glance what time the alarm is set for like I could on my old one. Occasionally the DAB digital drops out and you get a beeping instead of the radio because it says there is no signal, but that doesn't often happen and you can always just switch it to FM. I have another digital radio that never loses the signal, so I was a bit surprised. It is a nice size for the bedside table and you can change the brightness of the display and the volume of the alarm (which starts off quietly so you don't wake with a start!) It does what I wanted it to do at a good price.

This AZATOM Horizon Dab Radio is the second one I have purchased.I have had one ona bedside table for around two years during wich time it has never faultered .In the kitchen I have a Dab Radio from a very well known company, it has never performed well since it was purchased eighteen months ago, switching on the morning it takes a period of time to find a signal, often failing, once a signal has been established it drops out repeatedly, I thought it was the radio and not the internet signal as everything else in the house works perfectly.Just to make sure I removed it and placed the AZATOM Horizon inexactly the same position, it came on immediately and performed seemlessly, hence the reason for purchasing a second Azatom .The Azatom Horizon has many features and benefits that far outweigh those of the more than twice the price item such as easy programme search and storage, an excellent bright display that can be seen , very good sound for such a small speaker crystal clear speach, my second one is now in place and working well without any loss of signal.Other benifits, a UK based company who you can phone and speak to a human being, the Horizon model offers great value for money plus an extended 3 year warranty after registration.I would highly recommend this Azatom Horizon , do not hesitate to place your order, you will not be disappointed.Alasdair W.

I ordered this Dab Digital Bedside FM radio to replace a rather old fashioned one which had a radio which had very poor reception for my husband's birthday. From the moment I plugged the radio into the mains, it intuitively displayed the correct date, day and time and I was really impressed that I did not have to bother with the tedious task of having to scroll through the system to enter those myself. It has headphone socket, aux socket and can be powered by batteries too and its compact size does not take up a lot of space on the bedside cabinet.The performance and reception of this radio is excellent both for music and speech, sound is superb and I even tested the bluetooth connection from my iPhone and that was very easy to set up too. Although I have only had this radio/alarm for a day, all in all, I think it is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality piece of kit at a very reasonable price. I have to admit to being a bit more technically savvy than my better half even at 71 years of age but even he can find his way around the buttons and controls so I am confident that now everything is set up, I can confidently leave him to it.

I had high hopes for the Alarm clock having read lots of reviews on various different products, this one seemed to have it all. However.....When I received the product it was nicely packages, nice warranty card, simple instruction manual, I plugged it in and....nothing happened. It uses a micro USB so I plugged my Samsung phone cable in and it came to life. It powered on and the clock set itself...30 seconds slow. I manually set the clock to the correct time and set the alarm clock for weekends 0700. I woke the next morning to find the clock was now 3 minutes slow! The clock continued to lose time over the week - not very helpful for an alarm clock. I went onto Azatom's website and tried to contact them but no response. A month down the line and I still am not getting any response from them.After having had the clock for a month I can now reported that I did manage to get the original power supply to work - it's very temperamental. If you set the alarm clock for weekdays only it will stop on the Friday and NOT start again on the following Monday - you have to go in on Sunday evening and re-set the alarm! The clock randomly powers off (it's done this twice now), completely off, no display, nothing and even though you power it back on - via the on/off button - and it shows the alarm 1 - the alarm will not go off!Please save yourself some heart ache and avoid. I'm requesting a refund from Amazon as AZATOM as nowhere to be seen - as someone else said in a previous review you can't get hold of them! Do not buy this if you actually need an alarm clock!It's a real shame as the product ticked all the right boxes on paper, unfortunately it does not live up to the paper.
