I like the purity of art. With or without batteries. Looks amazing. Eye catcher and perfect home decor (if your into that). This is for a gift contest for a party. If I win, they keep it (bc they love it)... if I don't win... I keep it. it's a Win Win!The box it came in couldn't handle the size of the item I guess, but the product came in great condition.

For the price it is perfect. Love the gold. Yes it’s plastic but for Dali fans it’s a great gift!

Decent for the price tag. I already knew it was plastic going into the purchase but still wish there was a chrome/metal version that charged accordingly, cuz I would prally buy it. I have seen other versions of the melting clock that have metal parts and quartz but this design wins out of all of them for me. After a couple weeks the time is still within a minute(no second hand) and working correctly. Hangs easily on multiple surfaces without need for adhesive or weight. Heads up it makes the classic ticking noise every second in case you are easily annoyed. Doesn't bother me....my wife? Not so muchhhhh. Needless to stay it stays in a room far from the bedroom!It is good as a gift if you don't mind it being more of a joke/sentiment as are the likes of those found in the aisles of a Spencer Gifts or Hot Topic.....if those are even around anymore. Again for just under $10 it is worth it. As a plus, for those who are consumed by multiple zoom/video calls during the 2020 pandemic, it is a fun background piece that doesn't look plastic from a blurred distance!

This clock is exactly as described and pictured. Very light weight but looks hefty.

Lightweight and sturdy enough to hang on fireplace mantle without the need of sticky back. Functions well and accurate with time.

Returned this. Novel idea, but you need a straight solid side and a top with no overhang if you want it to stay on a surface. Think plain square box. Most furniture doesn't work.
