Surprised by the quality and sound for the price
I needed to restring my Ibanez EHB1506MS and searched to see if Ibanez did strings. I found these online and for the price I thought that I may as well give them a shot. So far so good is all I can say. They are comfortable bright and punchy, they help the bass cut through the mix and have improved the sound of my bass according to my band mates. It's a bit early to comment on the longevity as they are still quite new. But it's several rehearsal sessions and gigs since being fitted and they are holding up well.

Unbelievable value!
Love these strings. I have tried dozens of strings over the years and frankly, with the possible exception of Elixir which are super pricey and until they invent a new metal, they are all similar. These strings look bright and despite being coated they sound bright. Can't comment on the longevity yet but so far no degradation in their performance. Good sustain and punchy. I can get a great acoustic sound too so quite versatile. I bought an Ibenez Les Paul 45 years ago and it's still going strong. So whoever actually manufactures these, I have great confidence in their products.

Plastic bag???
It's the first time I have ever got strings all in one plastic bag. The new strings were tagged but I prefer paper pockets, as it allows me to keep the older strings separate. First time using this brand, time will tell if I like them

Firstly I'd like to say how fantastic ibanez are as a company
Ibanez are a great company, they make some absolutely brilliant guitars and bases and although these strings are well packaged in lovely packaging and nice and securely sealed in the plastic they are far too short to fit my six-string base. so I have wasted my money and Amazon will not print my review due to the political correctness. So two , summarise you're getting some lovely shiny new strings in a lovely packaging that you could have in a frame on the wall and just look at them because that's all they're good for because they will not fit your six string base .

Best strings I've used
Don't know if Ibanez make them but they're superb. They put elixirs on new basses. These are nearly as long lasting and half the price. Sound great all across fretboard.

Good when new, but they fade a bit too soon.
I can;t get roundwounds to last that long, which must be down to chemistry, but have found that coated strings last way better in most instances.I've become a fan of Elixir and Markbass coated strings (Ernie Balls were useless) and these Ibanex strings seemed like a decent halfway house price-wise, but I was a little disappointed in this last set as they faded nearly as quickly as conventional uncoated strings. After a couple of weeks' use they really sound quite dead and less bright than some flats. They're pretty inexpensive though, so probably represents decent VFM.
