Wedge Espresso Distribution Tool, Pavant Precision Coffee Leveling Distributor with V Blade, Adjustable Depth Coffee Leveler for 54mm Breville Portafilter…

I've tried a few of these and this one is the best I've tried. Not too heavy, easy to adjust, has a holder, but the label on the top is unwanted and not quite centered.

I have tried a dozen Distributors including Cross creek but this is the one I stuck with. I noticed most other Distributors don't leave a Flat surface after spinning the grinds. The V Notch I find to do just that. I also like how heavy and solid the tool is not to mention can be extended to 12mm and helps with compacting. Like the basket it sits in as well. Very Happy!!

disclaimer, i have returned this product for personal reasons as i had realized i didnt really need this but in the end it doesn't really hurt your shots if you feel like you have trouble getting an even tamp. my only real complaint is that it held grounds onto the wedge regardless of the use of RDT or not which was ultimately another reason why i returned it because i am a huge stickler for that kind of thing. regardless, it does give you a nice leveled bed for tamping. it also is fairly heavy and has a nice elegant build. pavant makes good stuff and i can also atest for their puck screens which helped me alot with my flair pro 2 before i upgraded to a flair 58, so im confident that you will probably enjoy those along with any other coffee gear from them.

Works extremely well to level my ground beans. This item is weighty, and the depth of leveling can be adjusted. I use this after working out the clumps with my wdt tool, tamping after leveling. I'm glad I bought this vs an uber expensive one.

This Distribution Tool worked well for me, it also come with tool stand which keep the tool clean for the next use.

Great tool so far. Excellent build quality. Easily adjustable. Comes with a stand. I use it in my espresso making workflow daily. Would highly recommend.

This Pavent Distribution Tool feels like it’s made with heavy duty quality materials. It’s sturdy and comes with its own base to keep it protected and stored. It was a learning curve figuring out how much to adjust it to make sure the grounds would get spread evenly in the portafilter basket. Once I learned what worked best it helped me pull good espresso shots. It’s not my go to but definitely a contender!

Solid build. The V blade does make for better distribution than the winged versions (in my opinion). Not a substitute for tamping. (This tool is designed for 58mm portafilters. Indeed, it is not made for Breville machines. Ignore ridiculous "reviews".)

Feels so premium, solid, easy to adjust and the holder is good addition. For the price, this is a steal!
