The Archie Comics Board Game - Running 'Round Riverdale - Family Board Game for 2 to 4 Players Ages 7 and up by Outset

My daughters really enjoy playing this game. It's a great family game. We have played it every Saturday since it arrived. Plus they love Archie comic books.

My grandchildren aged 6 and 8 LOVE this game! So much in fact, that even if they lose they still had fun and want to play again. They say it is a combination of Sorry and Uno. Game play is somewhat quick so multiple games are easily played.It is challenging enough to hold an adults interest, yet easy enough for children to understand and strategize.

This is a traditional Sorry/Parcheesi mash-up, borrowing basic gameplay from both. Each of the colored teams of 3 start at separate locations in Riverdale and race to get to Pop'sDiner for free milkshakes (the center of the board). The first color to get all characters there, wins. The game is better with added rules (basically sending other players home when you land on their space) the game’s actual instructions are simple enough for kids to follow and let the game play quicker. There are no dice. The game is played entirely with cards, which I was skeptical of, but works pretty well. There are also 3 special event cards that every player can use one time. The Archie theme is very much painted on, but there are a lot of characters to choose from to build your team of 3. The artwork is nice and colorful, and the quality is acceptable for 20 bucks. This is based off the original comics and not the current television show, so only a handful of characters are recognizable to those new to the world of Archie.We are adults that very much enjoy playing this game, but, with some tweaks to the rules. This is very simplistic and unoriginal as far as gameplay goes. It is not something you would likely drag out for game night with friends or serious gamers, but it would be great for kids, a family (i dont think parents would mind playing this at all), or for the Archie completist.

If you're a big fan of Archie and board games you'll love this. It has a bunch of different characters from the Archie comics including Sabrina and the Pussycats. You get to put together a team of 3 characters, which is cool. The game itself plays out like a super crazy spontaneous version of Parcheesi. My brother-in-law got me this for my birthday and we all had fun playing it.There's cool Archie artwork all over the gameboard, cards, and box. Also lots of jokes on the cards and other places too that will make you laugh, especially if you know the Archie characters.

This game is so fun. I didn't think my siblings would like it very much since they dont know the old Archie comics but they love it. It's a nice game that's easy to play and is pretty fun. Everything came perfectly packaged and in amazing condition.Edit. It's been 7 months since I got the game and my sisters love it so much. They play it at least once a week and when they do play they play at least 5 rounds before putting it away. The game is still in really good condition but definitely looks loved.

Fun game for fans of the Archie comics. Easy set up and play for kids over 7. Do not use a box cutter on top....may accidentally cut into product. Box was tight fit....no packing material.

Our daughter is obsessed with Archie comics. I was scouring for a related gift and I stumbled upon this board game and was super excited! I was not disappointed when it arrived. The colors of the items included are vibrant and fun and classic Archie. The game play and directions are a bit complex and you need to read them very well before you play the game. This is such a fun board game for the family to play and enjoy some good old fashioned fun while reliving memories of comics past!
