I got this for one of my bonus kids who loves Pokémon. He also loves building things. He’s 8yo, and immediately went on to assemble it with his siblings. It’s definitely a good idea for keeping the littles occupied with something interactive and requires the kids to use their brains a bit to assemble it.All 3 kids, ages 4, 8, and 12 sat together for a couple hours putting it together while taking breaks to show me their accomplishments stage by stage during the assembly.

My granddaughter loved getting this pokémon building set for Christmas. It is very good quality and very vivid colors. Highly recommend

I bought this for my son’s 7th birthday after seeing it at a friend’s house. My son is a whiz at putting together Lego-brand sets, but he became frustrated with this set right off the bat because he was having so much trouble putting the legs on Pikachu. He came to me for help, and I had trouble, too. I basically ended up building the whole set for him because it was so difficult for him to snap the pieces together. I also had trouble snapping many of the pieces together, and I had to apply so much force on many of the pieces that the pads of my thumbs are still sore a few hours later.

The toy was sturdy and challenging to the recipient.
