Linksys E1700 N300 Wireless-N Router with Gigabit Ethernet and Adjustable Antennas

Absolutely Perfect!Got it to install DD-WRT. This came with firmware 1.0.0.2 (purchased March 2016) which is the latest version Linksys install, which at the time of writing this cannot be flashed with the DD-WRT firmware. In order to do it you can downgrade the firmware to 1.0.0.0 using [...] (FW E1700 v1.0.00.081 20131220.bin) then flash it using the firmware off the DD-WRT site.

Good all round router. Although don't make the same mistake I did and buy the E1700 if you want to use DD-WRT. It is on the supported devices list but really doesn't run well on DD-WRT. It stops responding after about 2 or 3 minutes of flashing the firmware.Although saying that the official firmware is good. I'm using it as a second router and it does the job is bridge mode with no problems. Very few options in terms of configuration but if you want router to work out the box then this is a good choice.

Very slow at saving settings and wifi distance very poor. At once point the wifi just stopped working due to a power supply next to it. Recently it forgot all of its settings and I need to restart it constantly (twice a week or sol) other than that does work well and the 1gig version does pump the data around fine on wired connection.

Great wifi

I bought this item for small office. Failed within few months. Had to report to Amazon and a replacement was sent. Over 1 year now, the second same router is down. It is so frustrating to arrange and configure another router when it fails.

Great product

Flashed with DD-WRT no problems, good solid router for not alot of money

Item had already been opened and configured. No CD for software and no Cat5 cable. Had to factory reset it to be able to get into it. Unfortunately I am abroad so not economic for me to return it. Very disappointed.
